Do you ever come to office on weekends?

For the last 2 and half years I have been at the office every day. Have I confused you?

Well, I will explain. I have been working part time from home for the last 2 and half years so my home is my office.

We work on Saturdays, Which means that we get only a Sunday as a weekend. I land up in coming to the office on atleast 2 Sunday's in a month. It's normally to clean up or keep myself prepared for the coming work week. I'd rather be doing this than lazing around at home.

no, because i only work from monday to friday. i work in a government agency thats why we have no work during weekends. but i prefer to have work during weekends because i only feel bored if i'm at home. because of mylot, i already have something to do during weekends and my boring time lessen...

must be a very important part of your staff.I am retired but yes I often did some overtime when someone was ill and they were short of staff in the library so worked sometimesin lenghty
spells also.We had the libraryopen seven days a week so often had to work on Sat or sunday.

That must be very hectic for you. We certainly need rest to charge ourselves up. Saturdays are my working days . In fact on Saturdays I have cover up for Sundays and so end up going late. But on Sunday i do not compromise. I have to take a full day off doing things my way. This is very important for the coming week.

When I was still teaching, yes. We had to go to school to attend faculty meetings that are sometimes scheduled during weekends and to supervise, school organizational activities like the repertory, etc.

i used to go to work even on Saturdays or weekend but not anymore... i got to rest and make sure that i have time for myself and my love ones... well again it is a case to case basis... Happy weekend!

nice utilization of office resources. already your office is bearing your cost for weekends and to add more you are using office internet to earn for your self. I wonder your boss knows that, or ma be he is busy answering other discussions on my lot:)

Hi Subha! Such practice is true if there is dire need and your Management allows you to attend the office even then I would recommend that always seek written approval for such urgent peice of work. I work as support manager and sometimes I have to do so but with permission and authority.

I work every saturday. If there is less pressure of work I leave office at 2 pm. Or else have to sit till the work gets over.
