Open my own store!!

I have a really nice shed in my side yard that is right on the road and I am thinking of making it into a small shoppe where I can sell my home made cloth diapers and other home made items. I would not have any competition!! In my small town there are no other stores like this. In my small town we have 2 grocery store, a cvs, a goodwill , a hardware store, 2 auto part store!! That is it. Nothing for babies or kids. I would love to have a consignment store too. But just deal with kids and babies items.

That sounds like a great idea, as long as zoning allows for it.
It should be a viable business, provided that there isn't a box store such as WalMart within easy driving distance (about 30 miles or so).

Sounds like a real good idea. You should check into laws in you town first. Find out if this is legal and what requirements there might be. Then, once that is cleared, do some research to find out if others think there is a need for this. Finally make a financial plan. Figure your start up and operating costs. Then you will have answered the ? should I do this. Good luck!
