Does your little dog think hes bigger than he is......

My maltese attacked a massive lab when she was just a three pound puppy. It was so funny to watch. The lab just stared at her wondering, "What are you doing runt?"

I think most little dogs think they are big dogs, not sure if it is for show or if it is just insticts kicking in, I thin k it is quite funny to see a little dog chasing after a big dog..

Hi my dog is a bichon shitzu. He does act like a big dog stuck in a little dogs body. If anyone comes close to our house he goes nuts. He acts like he is a gaurd dog instead of a family pet. However the reality is he could not hurt a fly and odds are if someone broke into my home he would probibly end up licking them to death.

Yep! I have two Maltese. One is 5 pounds and the other is 7 pounds. They both think they're Godzilla! Well, actually the smaller one is the toughest. She goes after a bunch of geese who have decided that my property is their home. They both chase our 16 pound cat!

It is funny to watch them when they think they're big stuff! LOL

There is something that really exists called "Short Man Syndrome" where men who are shorter than average have an inferiority complex and compensate by acting all big and bad. I wonder if the little dogs are the same way? Hmmm...

My cavieler, lhasa mix the same way thinks he is are guard dog.
but when the people come in he licks them to death. I dont know why
little dogs do this, it got to be little dog syndrom, they have to
make themselves look bigger then what they are . I dont know but it
sure is funny. THe funny thing is sometimes he thinks he is a cat.
when you watch him play with a ball he plays with it the same way
a cat would play with a ball of yarn. lol it is funny

My smallest rat terrier also has a lot of attitude. The day after I first got here I took her for a walk around the neighborhood. She weighed all of 2.4 pounds. We met the neighbor's 80 pound chow "puppy" and Annie showed him who was boss right away. She is definitely full of attitude!

My little dogs think that they are quite tough, snoopy04, and I often go out of my way to help them keep thinking that about themselves.

What kind of dog do you have?

I have a shih tzu (kobe) who thinks he is as big as my siberian husky (tasha). He would race with her, jump as high as he could to bite tasha's ears. He would grab my mom's slippers and run with it, hoping to be chased by tasha. He never thinks that tasha is so much bigger than him. When tasha starts to play with him, he would never say no... i think kobe says to tasha, "i wont let you overpower me! HA-Ha!"

My dog isn't very small, she's average sized. But she's kinda scary of big things, unlike yours.

I have two dogs who have size confusion...
My miniature dacshound thinks he is a big dog. He has the heart of a big dog. My akita though she thinks she is a small lap dog (she weighs around 65 pounds). She is 6 months old so she is still a puppy. She has no concept that she is that big.
