Out of the 7 colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, violet) what ones would you list first as your favorites, leading on down to your least favorite? I like red, yellow, green, blue, orange, purple, violet.
I'm not really sure WHY I like them in that particular order. Perhaps it's because they just seem natural to me, that they be in that order...or maybe it's because they just roll off my tongue better?
Anyway, how would YOU rank them?

Hi commanderxo.
My favorite colors are as follows:-
Orange - This is because it is really bright and this is something that helps me feel warmer cos of the warmth of the color.
Red - I am not sure why this is another favorite color but it is still one of my favorite colors all the same.

You sound like a very sensitive person who probably goes with their feelings first, before acting upon them. You know, sort of, "test the waters first", then wonder whether or not you've made the right dedision?
I'm kind'o the opposite. I usually act upon my thoughts first, then try to figure out how I feel about what I just did.
I guess in a way, we're both "fighters" whose sensitivities depend upon our actions? Sounds kind of risky though, but hey, what's life without taking a little risk, right?

Mine are red and black, they are very expressive and they are bright, bold colours that reflect me, I love wearing red and black clothes, some people think black is macabre but I think black is a wonderful colour and I can wear it well, red is also for boldness and actually makes me feel confident if that makes sense, I wear too much blue which to me is drab and boring. I would also like a nice red room when I get my own place. Red with a hint of black. Red and black to me are warm colours and reflect me. I am also moody and I guess in a way both red and black can be signified as moody colours.

Very interesting. Moodiness? Yes. Perhaps, even a person who may have a bit of a short temper as well?
Red stands for anything pertaining to: " fast physical action"...as in, how fast you PERCEIVE your physical state of being, or anything that comes to you.
Black, on the other hand, represents the "stopping-off point". Nothing else matters, comes after it, or is beyond that point.
Therefore to you...nothing beyond the physical holds much weight, or the speed in which it comes to you. This is why it leaves you feeling moody. The fact that blue bores you bares this out, since it is a more relaxed conditional color, and would basically, "slow you down".
Your conditional response then is to take action first, and more than likely, ask questions later.

Ok...now let's see if your choices can reveal something about you, based on the order that you put them in. Bare with me.
Play with the "symbolism" of what each color represents, then pair them off.
Tell me if I'm correct, and please...this is NOT an analysis...just something I came up with, that's a bit wierd, but fun none the less.
Blue/Purple...Purple/Violet
Blue in all it's aspects =love. Purple (male side) let's say, represents your aspirations. While Violet (female side) represents your inspirations.
This tells me that you are highly imaginative.
Violet/Red (we already know what Violet means) Red= any kind of physical action.
Therefore...what INSPIRES you, you act upon, and you probably get very excited about it.
Red/Green. (Green=peace.) But PHYSICALLY, this "peace" would have to depend upon something TANGIBLE...PHYSICAL...therefore, "facts" would be necessary in order to preserve a peaceful reaction.
Green/Orange (Orange=emotions)...the need for "peaceful emotions", would show "wittiness" based on the previous pair.
Lastly, Orange/Yellow (Yellow=intelligence) Therefore, this pair shows "emotive thinking"...or...someone who might place their feelings in check (IE: worry, or guilt themsevles if they felt they MAY have made a bad or wrong choice.)
Now...red is in the middle, meaning that the person holds their actions in "reserve". Also red comes before orange, & orange comes before yellow.
Action, then emotion, then thought.
This combination of colors then, would say that this person is highly imaginative, acts peacefully upon his/her feelings, and judges the outcome later.
What do you think? Am I close?
It's fun, isn't it?
Try it on your friends.
