Monday morning lazies!

Do you ever get up on Monday morning being lazy after a weekend of rest? Well, this morning, I did get up and put on a washer of clothes. And, I cooked breakfast for the two grandsons I have here this week. But, other than that, I have no desire to do anything but compute! I know there is lots I could be doing, but I'm totally being lazy this morning! I put my dishes in the sink, ran the water over them, and left them for another time! I'll get to them sometime today. I probably need to change beds and wash sheets, too. Is there anything wrong with just wanting to be lazy sometime? As I get older, I realize that nobody is going to do my work, so I do it whenever I want to do it. It is still going to be there when I find the time. I have realized that life is short, even though we are getting older, and therefore, I want to do things that really mean lots to me. If gas wasn't so high, I'd be going to see my new grandbaby more, visit my daughter and her kids more (she lives over an hour away) and see my Mother more often. So, since I can't do what I would like to do, I'm just being lazy today! How about you?

After enjoying the weekends parties, it's always harsh to get into work. It's make us feeling laziness to work after taking rest for consecutive two days though we have lots of work pressure. It takes little time to overcome such laziness.

I can understand that. Back when I was working, it didn't matter how lazy you felt when you got to work, you had better be able to produce. Otherwise, you may not have a job.

I think I'm getting much better about being lazy. I used to sit here non stop all day and hardly ever move. Today I've already done some laundry and done a quick work out. I haven't touched the dishes yet, but no big deal, I can get to them when I want. The house does need a cleaning, but again, no big deal, nobody else really cares about the state of the house. I really was thinking of going somewhere today, but again the weather looks a bit nasty like it might rain, and we're broke.. so we may be stuck indoors all day. I don't like days like this.

I try to get up once in awhile and do a little house work or washing. I did one load of laundry this morning, but I do need to press some shirts and pants for my husband and wash my grandson's clothes. He will be going home one day this week and I like to send all his clothes home clean so Mom won't have to do them. I used to be a perfect housekeeper, but now I 'let it keep me'. But I will completely clean it when all the kids are back home in school and there is only Papa and me here. That way, it will stay clean until they come again. Nobody visits around here anymore anyway, so I don't worry about a visitor just dropping in unannounced.

Okay, Cher. You deserve a day off! I was out all day at Mother's Thursday, out all day school shopping Friday with my grandson. Then, Saturday, I was out most of the day with my husband and grandson shopping for him a pair of work boots. I was so tired. Yesterday, I had to cook and play games with my grandsons. So today, perhaps I have a right to be lazy. Besides, it is too hot here to do too much. One of my grandsons went out to do his daily jogging and he said he almost passed out from the heat. Now he's gone on the lawnmower to do his mowing. Kids just don't get too exhausted!

I've had a lazy day today as well, it's really hot here and I don't feel too well (we went out drinking last night) so I have just been sitting around recovering. I was supposed to do some Yoga but they recommend you shouldn't do it if you feel ill so I'm going to leave it for today, and the sun shines right in the window where my piano is so I'll have to wait till it goes down before I can practice or I'll get blinded by it.

I have to do housework to get away from all the work I do online! But sometimes I do love watching TV online. It's fun. And a good reason not to wash yet another load of dishes!

I wished I could have a lazy day. If you come to my house you would think I'm lazy. LOL! But taking of my mom and her house and my house and family, my house gets the short end of the stick. LOL!
