Typical Liberal BS rehashed and spit out as something "New"...

Obama's Energy Policy - Barack Obama checks the wind direction to see how he feels about offshore drilling.

If anyone had any question as to Obama's motives, he laid them to rest today with his speech. Anyone else notice that not a single item on Obama's "agenda" can be accomplished during an Obama administration? The wimp doesn't even have the guts to hold himself responsible for his own policies. In typical liberal fashion, it is his motives and intentions that count, and anyone who holds him to any standard or actual outcome is just being petty and unfair. Most laughable is how liberals lie about how it will take "10 years" before any offshore or ANWR oil could be produced. Obamabots, please explain to me, how is Obama's 10-15 year plan is any shorter than the 10 year lie about domestic drilling?Obama has proven himself to be full of more empty promises, lies and bigotry than even Pelosi and Reid.

Cute picture I do not like Obama nor offshore drilling so I cannot explain his plan or any other. Personally I wish they'd make people go back to horses instead of cars. Then we could put unemployed people to work cleaning up the horse manure from the roads LMAO

I have no horse, but I also have no car. My way of getting around these days is by foot

np, it was mostly a joke anyway. It's my pat answer for anyone willing to tell the rest of us how we should live. I'll listen, and even respect someone who is living the "low impact" lifestyle they advocate for others.

You can't tell me it will take 10 years to get any oil out. The only thing that really is going to delay things are the environmentalist, and that's not 10 years. People... Don't forget the check the air in your tires...lol.

Obama has before told us American that we need to learn a new language. Well actually he is right, we need to learn how to speech BS and dumba$$ so we can understand Obama and the Democrats. It is amazing how Obama's plan is do able even though it will take 10-15, but drill in ANWR and off shore and you get the it will take ten years. So what does it matter if it takes ten years. Pelosi, Reid, and Obama would rather have a plan the will hurt America over the long hull than do anything that would actually help America. Comen sense tell you that we need to have the ability to start using our own resources instead of depending on other countries for their resources.

Yes. But he is charismatic and that is what is drawing the people to him. Even if he is a flake people seem to like him. Is there a politician that is not just full of fluff and holds to what he says? I have not seen one yet and I started voting in 1974. I really liked McCains comparison to Hilton and Spears. That was a good one. But then is McCain any better?

Yes, But do they hold all their campaign promises. I well use our California Governor as an example. When Arnold was running for office the number one promise he made was that he would increase school budgets and bring our school system back to it glory when we had one of the best school systems in the country instead if one of the worst. Well, as soon as he got into office he cut the school budget by ten percent. Before he became governor he was the main celebrity who spoke up for afternoon school programs to help children and provide them a place to stay after school until there parents were home form work. He also cut the funding for that as soon as he became governor. Also he campaigned that he would help bring energy cost down. We had been having extreme utility bills because the previous Governor had abolished regulations on the utility companies. Yet this year we had higher electric costs then we ever have. So what promises has HE kept.

True A'nold has been nothing but a disappointment to both sides. But he wasn't one of my examples, was he. A'nold is only showing his true colors.

Actually there have been a lot of presidents who stuck to what they said. JFK was killed for it, Reagan was villianized by the press for it, and Bush Jr. was falsely accused of capital crimes for it.

I had to laugh, did anyone see what McCain was doing? Handing out tire pressure gauges for campaign donations, he said he was handing out "Obama energy plans". lol I dunno, I thought it was funny anyway, maybe I'm just weird. Anyway Ted, even if Obama's rethinking on drilling is politically motivated, just him saying it and agreeing to it is a help. I'm so tired of gas prices I'll take almost anything at this point fro either side. Once they do so and oil drops in price, if nothing else, at least we'll have the "I told you so" factor.

Never be so desparate that you'll accept "almost anything" for relief.
