DO you have pogo gems?

I got some a few months ago to buy a premium badge album as a gift for a friend. and I got one for myself as well.I still had a lot left over but never paid much attention to it.
Yesterday I was looking at the summer 2008 badge and thinking that I might not be able to get that badge because for some reason I wasn't able to get into the back gammon game to complete the weekly challenge, when I remembered about my pogo gems. SO I used some to buy a few more badges to my mix and match album.
I finished one last night so I even though I didn't do the backgammon one I still have 3 out of 7 counting for the summer badge.
I didn't have to do that because I just realized later that I had two more weeks of challenges to get the summer badge, but gems do come handy to buy a badge challenge when we aren't able to finish all the challenges for one week - a game we don't like to play, some error that doesn't let us get in the game etc.
Have you ever used pogo gems for that? DO you have pogo gems? What have you used them for?

I've had 20 gems now for awhile. Just haven't found anything to use them for. Of course, I really haven't looked at what all I could use them for. LOL
I saw someone else say that would never buy gems. I feel the same way. It would be nice if there was another way you could earn them, like in jackpot spins. I'd rather have gems than another screensaver or wallpaper.

I agree with you. It would be nice to get them in jackpot spins as well.
I bought mine because my friend from back home wanted to have a premium badge album so I bought one for her on her birthday. But I had left overs so now I use them to buy a new badge challenge here and there.

Not any more. They were giving a few away to try to get members hooked on them, but about the time Pogo went all ballistic with the extra stuff I quit playing those games and started doing GPT instead. It is sort of a game, too, but one that pays me instead of wanted me to pay it. Didn't have much use for the gems.

Yes I know what you mean. I did buy them to send an album for my friend back home, and I still have left overs. I used some last week to use for the challenge I didn't have a chance to complete.
I like playing when I'm stressed or need to relax and I also love to be able to play canasta with that friend back home.

I only have two I would never pay for gems. What they should do is let you use your tokens to buy the gems now if they did that then I would deffintley save up and be able to buy some since I probally will never win any money on that site. I dont know why they wont do that.

I agree with you that they should let us use our tokens - even if not at face value, I don't know 100 points one gem or something like that - to buy gems. I would probably do the same and save up to get some extra badge albums.
I don't play or go there to win money, it is not a site for wining money, it's a site for playing, there's a difference. I go there because it relaxes me to play the games after a complicated day at work so the money I pay for the membership is worth for me. But I would never have become a member just because I hoped to win any money.
