During this crucial period with the upcoming political election what news channel do you watch. MSNBC? FOX NEWS?
I try my best to watch more than one because many are one sided. In order to get the truth you need to explore more than one source.
So what do you watch?

I tend to agree with you on that and not only that, I like a little bit of variety too as far as details on different things. No reporter can catch and/or remember everything so it's good to watch different ones at different times.

I recently stopped watching MSNBC it's totally one sided and does not concentrate on what really matters. Fox news shows equal time for all the candidates. They did the life story on Obama, McCain, Palin and now Biden also. I watched them all, I watched the DNC and the RNC, and the Interview with Obama when he was on Fox. They have been proven to be the most balanced. Equal time for both candidates and equal amount of Democratic and Republican debaters. Keith Olbermann is the worse. Just disgusting if you ask me the behavior of some people. People who twist words in order to degrade others to push who they in their opinion they think should be elected. And the way the media has attacked Palin is sickening. The way magazines have a puff piece on Obama and then nothing but attacks on McCain and Palin is wrong, and the whole use of half truths to use against them, the media is who we are suppose to be able to trust to give us the truth and the whole truth. In the end people will need to look beyond the gossip and look into the facts of what this country needs to be concentrating on in order to get on it's feet again.

I'll admit I tend to watch MSNBC more than anything else because I think they have the best reporters and definitely I prefer their prime-time line-up to any others. I'll occasionally watch CNN or CNN Headline News along with the regular networks now and then for the evening news (usually ABC) plus I flip through the various news shows on Sunday mornings. I stay away from Fox except for Greta's show and sometimes Geraldo on weekends. I confess I'll now and then catch Hannity and Colmes on the late night rerun after Jay Leno is over but I can only take Hannity in VERY small doses. I like Alan Colmes but he barely gets a word in edgewise. I also watch C-Span now and then.

I agree we should all get our information from as many sources as possible. There was a time when we didn't have much of a choice but for most of us there's no excuse these days with all the different cable networks that are on 24/7. There isn't even an excuse if someone is unable to watch most shows when they're originally aired since most are rerun one or more times each day or night.

I watch several news channels as well. I have found that Fox News, while conservative, does not pick and choose what to report as much as some of the others do. I really don't find CNN very useful when it comes to political news because they're so clerly left leaning that I end up watching nothing but editorial commentary disguised as news. Some of the networks are becoming just as bad. If you're not far left or far right it's difficult to get balanced news coverage anymore.
