Which destinations would you choose? Begin in your home country like I would start in London. The USA and Canada: New York, Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, Vancouver. The Pacific: Hawaii, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga. New Zealand: Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown. Australia: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, Adelaide, Perth. Asia: Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing, Delhi. Europe: London, Paris, Rome, Athens, Vienna, Frankfurt, Madrid, Lisbon, Moscow.

Hi Sunny, I can see that you only have time for one country so Australia is an excellent choice. Thanks for responding and have a lovely day.

If only I had the money my friend, very nice! I definately want to go back to the Catskill Mountains in New York State before I die. There is no other place I would want to go. I couldn't fly around the world because I am too frightened of flying and it would take too long in a boat, lol!

I can tell that you really like the Catskill Mountains in New York State. Mountains can be spell bounding and awesome to look at my friend. I think that instead of going around the world by air you could travel overland across the Americas. A sea crossing between Panama and Colombia could take up to 10 days.

That is a great route around the world. I see that you are staying in the Northern Hemisphere. It would be wonderful to meet you in London. Day dreaming about travel is fantastic and dreams do sometimes come true.

Wow interesting.. I know I want to tour the world, but when asked which particular places, this would be harder since I want to go to practically 90% of the world! But anyway, I would start in Asia since I'm here, not in any particular order.. So... Asia: Osaka - Nagoya - Kyoto - Tokyo - Jeju - Seoul - Beijing - Harbin - Inner Mongolia - Tibet - Guilin - Laos - Hoi An - Halong Bay - Delhi - Maldives - Medan - Jakarta - Surabaya Europe: Prague - Moscow - Kazakhstan - Vienna - Hamburg - Madrid - Barcelona - Rome - Paris - Athens - Oslo - Reykjavic USA and Canada: Anchorage - Edmonton - Toronto - Seattle - Montana - Nashville - Boston - New York The rest of the World: Tahiti - Sao Paulo - Rio de Janeiro - Buenos Aires - (and the Amazonas) - Cape Town - Antarctica (!!) - Perth - Sydney - Melbourne - Auckland - Vanuatu - Fiji Islands Wheew .. There should be more but I just need to stop!

I think that is a fantastic route around the world visiting many different places, some large and some small. It would be extra exciting to fit a trip to Antarctica. You fly into Japan then travel round on a rail pass. You could get a combined train pass for the USA and Canada.
