I don't think that it is really ridiculous. You see, when you reach a mark, you earn something in return, such as be allowed to use the MyLot code, copy and paste, stuff like that. These are something to really brag about and be proud of. Plus, it is an achievement of sorts

Hey don't feel it to be ridiculous. They(including me, on my 100 post and a star) are sharing their happiness here with all other friends. And that's why only we do mylotting. Isn't it??? So be happy, and when you reach your 1000 th do start a new topic, and we 'll be happy to congratulate you...

I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't think people should post it for every 100 posts they do, but at milestones I think it is fine. I post them when I get to a big milestone still.

It is sad to see so many posts telling us that a user has reached XYZ posts because they will all be removed sooner or later and anyone participating in them will lose their post and earnings hence making it a complete waste of time

I do not think it is ridiculous at all..people just wants to share their happiness with their fellow mylotters and i also did that when i have reached my 500th posts..you may think it's shallow but people here are also happy for the other members who have done good jobs in posting..

For me there is nothing wrong creating a topic about what they achieved. If I am not mistaken I did one post on it because I was just so happy about it. I think it is one way of just sharing their sentiments on something they achieved. All we can do is just be happy for them.

sublime you too did not read the rules one mylot rule states do not make goal post discussions bragging about x number of points, if you want to brag use private messages to your friends. read the rules;. read the rules, I repeat read the rules.rthose goalpost discussions are always deleted.

Personally, I don't mind people celebrating reaching a certain post. Unfortunately, myLot doesn't allow it. Under the "Don'ts" in their guidelines, myLot says don't "[s]tart discussions promoting a milestone, such as birthdays, anniversaries, reaching a certain myLot rating, etc. This is best celebrated via private messaging with your myLot friends."

It does not seem to happen anymore. Any of such discussions are removed so there is no sense in creating them.
