Do you consider PBJ to be a kid's thing?

Well, philjas, I am much older than you and I still love them. I think this is a taste you acquire in your early years and it stays with you. I often eat peanut butter on bread by itself or with karo syrup. But there is no way I'd say PBJ sandwiches are just for kids - or should I say 'we are kids at heart?'

I still love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Unfortunately I couldn't share this with my kids. Although they are not allergic, it's been banned at their school. Which means it has been labelled as 'not good'. We have a peanut butter jar at home, and I'm the only one eating it.
I just had one yesterday.

No way. I don't think food is sectioned by age groups. You should eat what you want. A sandwich is a sandwich. And if you enjoy eating it then go for it. Even if you decide to cut the crust or shape them into animals, lol. There's no real way to "outgrow" food. Unless your taste changes and you no longer like the taste of something.

Hi, philjas. No. I still love to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every blue moon. My kids eat it more than I do though. Last month, I ate a couple of sandwiches like this. It was very delicious too! Yes, kids usually may eat this type of sandwich, but it is not mostly for kids all of the time though.

No way is peanut butter and jelly a kids' thing! Anyone should be able to enjoy the sandwich without judgement. Interestingly enough, when I was a kid, I hated peanut butter, but now I really like it
I think the only reason it might be a kiddie thing is because it is so easy to fix. No appliance is needed, so it isn't dangerous or risky for a child to make it themself. But that really shouldn't matter.

I'm 18 and I still love PBJ. I know I'll still love it when I'm 19, 20, 30, 40, and so on. I mean why not if you love eating it? To each their own.

I'm older than you & I have a PBJ for breakfast almost every morning. It gives me a quick boost & holds me over until I can fix lunch. I do love my PBJ sammies.
