What martial arts videos do you watch? Are they movies, old tv shows, exercise |
|
videos, kata videos, sparing videos? Have you bought any DVDs of Martial Arts? I haven't really had money since DVDs came out. Today is Aug. 10, 2008, one year ago I was in an accident. Starting tomorrow, I will do what I can of the Martial Arts videos I have. There are some things that it may take a long time for me to be able to do again and some I may never be able to do without wrenching my back. So I will go lightly on some moves, skip some, and go lightly on others. My friend loaned me a t'ai chi video and my husband had bought me some and I had bought some. I think jumping and turns might not be able to do, but I will try everything else and see if eventually I can do those or not. I have movies, old tv shows, but no kata ones. I do have martial arts exercise and some boxing as well as self-defence videos. So what videos/DVDs of Martial Arts do you have?

1. lonelyfloyd (172) | 1 year ago | I used to practise taekwondo in my childhood but have stopped now ... Since you say you are recuperating from an accident, tai-chi is a great option for you ... also, you can start off by learning light yoga moves .. It really helps to get things done in a relaxed fashio without extra strain on th body .. take care!!!

Yes I'm using t-c and yoga to help with my balance. Thanks for helping me. I just reponded to one of yours that had a zero after it. I tried to go back pages, and I couldn't. We used to be able to go back at least 5 pages to help someone out. I also responded to an article of yours with only one response. Unless I just need to do something to go back and don't know about it. Thanks and take care.

3. carolbee (6758) | 1 year ago | I'm not a martial arts person at all. Just don't get into the excitement of watching martial arts movies. I also was in an accident about 6 years ago and have a bad back and hip as a result. Won't do anything that will disturb my back and cause pain. I love to watch boxing but don't have any videos. My husband loves any kind of martial arts movies and will watch them when he's home in the evening if they are offered on cable.

writersedge (4422) | 1 year ago | Have you watched Jackie Chan? He's funny and his western one actually had a story about saving a Princess.
I just started watching boxing. It's interesting, but they don't have as many moves as martial artists. But the upper cut isn't in any style I was in and some of those guys are tricky and they do dance around well. Weird how they don't seem to block, just cover an area, though. Take care
