I totally agree with this. There was one time where I had a very dear uncle and he passed away due to an illness.
He sort of left an imprint in my heart because he was my dad's brother and I loved him very much. He was very jovial, very cheery and always giving me encouragement to do well for my studies.
Such people are really priceless in my lifetime and I pray for him always.

Yes thats true my friend, a happy heart is a happy person and its always an evidence with the way he looks at life and the way he approaches it, its always with a happy outlook as well. I hope you do your best with your studies and make your uncle proud of you.

Of course, that's true. People are big factors in our lives. My favorite thing is when a person who we wouldn't expect to have this influence on our lives do so. That has happened multiple times to me.

Yes it happened. more bad footprints than good ones, but they all cause the change in me. I guess it's true life is about survivality, that we will learn and change for the better.

That is quite true. We may not know how or who will affect us or how long it will take before we realize that we have been moved by them. A simple example of that was my high school Latin and French teacher. She was a good friend of one of our neighbors and I happened to be at the neighbor's home on my 16th birthday. The neighbor told me "Happy Birthday" and asked my teacher "Wouldn't it be nice to be 16 again?" Her reply was something that has stayed with me ever since. She told us that she had always enjoyed something in every year of her life.

Wow that was a good remark and a birthday statement, it may just be a one liner but its something that we can ponder upon and think of and we can say this also left a foot print in our hearts.

Yes this is true indeed. For instance I know a missionary family who has really impressed me and many other people by their lives, and by the fact that they have chosen to give up high-paying jobs to go and live in the rural countryside of another country. one of them was a doctor and another a university lecturer. and they have two small kids. but now they have been there for 12 years and are still going strong.
I think our churches these days need more people like these.

Our ministry pastor is also like that. They have given opportunities for work abroad but used their lives for fulltime service and have continually touched people's lives.
