No I don't believe that I do. It all comes down to compatibility really. There are a number of people on here that I do interact with a LOT because I find them intellectually stimulating and I enjoy most of the topics they post. If I add a new friend I will certainly take notice of what they are posting but will still ultimately go with those that I can relate to the most.

Dearest Bala
what makes you think that?
I feel, that no one can take anyone's place. We all have special places in our hearts for special people and no one can encroach on that ever. I can never forget my old friends. They are special and will be always. May be we fail to keep in touch for some reason or the other. But friendship will never die, never. I always remember them and contemplate the good time we had together. Its so refreshing and rejuvenating. They keep us going no matter what.
Distraction could be there but at the end of the day you sleep with the fond remembrance of your good friends old or new. That's how I am.
Have a great life.

New things are full of lustre, excitement, mystery, fun
Old things are explored, monotonous, static yet omnipotent...
Now you get your answer,I guess.

Bala! New or Old all friends are dear to me. I do not get more attracted towards new friends and in the process forgetting my old friends. I try my best to interact with all of them equally and gracefully, without considering whether they are old or new. Friends are most important to me in my life.

Not really ,but sometimes your old friends forget us ,and they don't seem to have time for us anymore. New people welcome us ,and make us feel special. There is nothing wrong with having lots of friends ,and most people don't forget their old friends.

No my friend that is not the case with me, I am very very loyal to my friends, and the friends I have I treasure deeply, I choose my friends carefully and have a few very very good trustworthy friends, I don't make friends easy because I am very wary of people and strangers and can be quite shy socially, so I tend not to mix or easily make new friends. The friends I have are important to me and have supported me and I would never forget them.

Hi there
!
I don't feel that way at all with my old friends. I'm the kind of friend who don't replace old friends but rather I try to increase my number of friends by having new ones. And if ever I have new friends I try to let her/him hang out with my old friends so they can be friends too. Having a big group of friends is much more fun!

I like meeting new people and making new friends. Its life you will make new friend and keep the old. But, my old friends are there to the end no matter what. No matter how far we go or when we go our different paths in life we will always be friends and always keep in touch. It is like the old girl scout song says make new friend but keep the old one is silver and the other gold. Your old friends are gold.

Hi balasri
No, I don't like to forget someone for someone new. Of course, i like to have new friends, but not at the cost of old friends. After all with my old friends I have shared my thoughts. I think it's not wise to forget those who gave me comapany when I needed most.
