Is any one else waiting for the last Harry Potter Movie? What's taking so long?

Everytime I think about it I get so impatient. I cant wait until the last Harry Potter movie comes out. I think that the whole collection of movies were great. Its kind of sad knowing there will be no more after this. I mean at the end of the book they say he's all grown up. I dont think Harry Potter at age 40 and balding will be as special as the others. Its funny my daughter doesnt really care about the books or anything. I loved it. I thought the author has a wonderful imagination. Well Hopefully it will be soon. Has anyone heard when the last movie is coming out? dl

Thanks for correcting me. I am so impatient I cant even remember what one it is. I feel so sad knowing that in only a few more years it will be all over. I honestly hope she does something else just as intriguing. I am the only one in the family who loves Harry Potter. My husband likes the movies. My children could care less. I wonder if they were switched at birth. LOL just kidding. From their attitudes I know they're mine. THanks again. Let me know when you hear anything. dl

I for one am certainly waiting for the final two movies of the Harry Potter series. I guess they are making one movie every two years now. So I guess that would mean a wait for around 2-3 years for the remaining two movies. The books were really fantastic. I generally liked the movies, but felt let down by some actors in the movie.

I can hardly contain the anticipation! I have decided to read the series over again. It wont take long but I figure it will help the time pass. Trouble is I can read one book in about 2 days. What am I going to do when I am finished again? Woe is me....lol dl

I really don't know when the last one is due out. I know I am saddened that it has ended. I loved the harry potter series in books and the movies as well.

From the responses I have received it seems that the next movie has been delayed for release until July of O9. I hope not! It's probably right. I will be so sad when there are no more movies to look forward to. I hope she changes her mind or at least creates something new and just as interesting. Well soon find out. For now Im happily waiting for Harry Potter once again. dl

They've finished filming the Half Blood Prince and were on track for their usual November release. However, following the writers strike, several other big films have been delayed and the studio guys feel it will be too much competition for HP so have put the release back to next year (July I think). Whilst this is really pants, it does mean a shorter wait between Half Blood Prince and the first instalment of The Deathly Hallows film.

Me to my friend! Me too. I cant imagine when this whole interesting dilemma is over. What will I do? I like LORD OF THE RINGS too. Maybe they'll do another. I did hear that Daniel Radcliffe had been approached to do THE HOBBIT. That sounds interesting. Until then I was thinking of rereading the entire series to brush up on my Harry Potter trivia. I have sort of mixed feelings because there will be nothing left to wait for after the last movie. I have really enjoyed both the books and the movies and was so sad when I finished the seventh book. It was really good but there was no more to the story and I wanted to keep reading! I am definitely excited to see it in film but I wish the series could somehow continue but now that Harry has grown up it would not be the same.

I am waiting for it. I have watched the Harry Potter series since then. And I love it so much. I love the characters and the kind of fantasy that's in the movie. It always excites me when a new installment of the movie is set for viewing. I hope the producers will solve all their problems and show the movie sooner or later.
