Checking In - What Have You Been Up To?  

Your life is how the people want! No doubt this is very exciting Olympic Games,Michael Phelps of the few games I saw, very exciting! His strength is very strong. . hehe this year's summer, because of the Olympics after birth and then the rich more. . .

We have been doing alot of camping. I keep checking in here a few times a week. The kids are about to start school, so we will be getting back to a routine. It sounds like you have had a busy summer. It is always nice to know that people appreciate things you have done for them. Have you ever checked into starting a business like that?

We are hoping to get one day at the beach, now that school has started, and most people are back into Fall Mode. The weather has not really been warm enough to warm up the lakes much this summer. My hubby has another new job, and gets his schedule only about two or three weeks at a time. We do not know just when we will have matching days off. What is your hubby doing this year? I know that clients love people who will take the time to do personal and caring things for them. I wish I could wave my magic wand, and make your business happen.

Happy end of the summer to you, I hope you get to enjoy the last few days. The grandkids have spent lots of time here too, its always fun having them. I have also been busy with life, and also helping my mom. Its nice seeing you again take care. Have a fun filled safe trip, even if its just one day.

Hi there! It does sound like you have been keeping quite busy this summer. I too have been watching the Olympics as it has been very interesting and glad to see most of the Americans doing well there. Phelps is phenomenal. My home has almost been fixed completely though am still waiting for my kitchen cabinets to be fixed and finding out what the insurance companies are going to do. I was in two bowling leagues which just ended as well. Work has been up and down and am hoping for a pay increase due to a job promotion. Next week my high school class is having a meeting to plan our 20 year reunion. Hard to believe that it has been 20 years since I graduated. I might be going on a date soon but will have to wait and see.

Hi Elusive well here it has been Rain again for the last 2 weeks, I can't believe that the Summer is nearly over again, I can tell by the darker Nights coming in and again we had more Rain the Sun

Good to hear you're enjoying your summer. I've been enjoying mine too, and have also been so busy that I haven't been on mylot much. The summer will be over much too soon, and I'm trying to make the best of it by being outside as much as possible. I've been trying to keep up with my yard and garden, cutting grass and pulling weeds. I haven't been to the beach yet, but my husband and I have been out on our bikes a few times, getting some exercise. I've also been spending a lot of time going to family and friend's parties. A couple of days ago we went to see a friend of ours compete in a demolition derby at the fairgrounds. It was the first one I ever went to, and it was so much fun, we stayed out until after midnight, and then my husband had to get up and go to work at 5 in the morning and then work a double shift. He's been working a lot of overtime, so we haven't had that much time to do much, so that night out was really nice.

I don't know where summer went. I didn't work and therefore had less hassles, but I still don't know where it went. I too had parties and anniversaries and classes and friends. Kiddo kept me busy. The last 5 years I had spent mornings working outside and since I didn't this year, I've been able to spend afternoons and evenings outside with kiddo. At 3 1/2, that's what he wants. He loves his slipper slide (slip n slide). Wat a riot! I've really enjoyed this summer with him.

It's good to hear from you. I have been super busy here lately. I got a job outside of the home back in March. It was part time but led into full time in May. So I work all day and get home about 6:00 in the evening. We eat supper, get clothes done, and get our showers and then it feels like it's time for bed. I've been trying to get on mylot a little bit each night. I was away for a little while but I was starting to miss it. So I said I will try to get on a little each night to get my fix LOL. We are going to Gatlinburg in October for a week so I'm ready for some relaxation and family time myself. Have fun on your beach trip.
