I don't know much about him although i've heard his name before. I also know when he withdrew from 2008 Presidential Race he said he would not even accept being Vice President even if someone offered it to him. So much for honesty but I guess he was bitter at the time.

Elmiko,
First let me say I don't believe in any way shape or form that this was Obama's choice! Joe Biden was chosen for him to detract from his lack of experience.
As for your question I believe this will ultimately be the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak. This choice totally abandons the primary election rhetoric of "a change you can believe in" because Biden is one of the congressional gridlock professionals of 30+ years!
I only see one of the Obama "faithful" has responded to this question and his answer is one to be expected by the blind faithful. Anything BHO does is just ok with these people and they would follow him off a clif if he chose to lead them there!

Funny how they forget what they say months back, has he excepted yet, I have not heard, I think he made the pick because he has no experience in Foreign Affairs and he believes that Biden with his years of experience will be what he thinks the people will say oh well he has him to advise him, I don't want a president that has to rely on others to make decissions for him, but someone that thinks for himself, if he has to run to Biden every time something happens then let's let Bideen be president.

I think that it was not a good choice. Biden and McCain were good friends and I think that if McCain had asked him to be his VP he would have done it..he said so. I don't believe he has faith in Obama. He also believes Obama lacks experience and is not ready to lead. I was surprised at his decision even know it seems logical with trying to fill in the gaps of the places he lacks experience(or percents in polls of these areas) however right off the bat McCain had leverage in the situation, and all he had to do was use this man's own words against him. But who knows who else would have been the right one. With Edward's affair out in the open and the obvious power struggle between Obama and Hillary, it's difficult to say if he really had a choice. We'll see how things play out... still time before the election.
