Have you ever had one of those days?

Have you ever had one of those days? You know, one of those days that everything just goes wrong no matter what you do? Well, my husband had one today, the poor thing. Early this morning his cell phone rang. It was a bill collector - yes, we are pretty broke right now so they are calling non-stop. Anyways, it was 8:00 am today (on Sunday) and he was really drowsy. He picked up the phone, looked at it and saw who it was, and hit decline. Then he promptly plopped it in a glass of water he had on the nightstand! Well, needless to say the phone is now dead and he woke up fully when he realized what he had done, but it was too late and his phone was kaput! So, have you ever had a rude awakening such as this or had things just go to crap for you? Sigh... Well, have a nice day and happy myLotting!!!

Life is not a bed of roses and everyone feels ups and downs coming. Same here, sometimes nothing seems to be going my way and whatever I do has or leave a bad result thus even spoling what I did ? During such happenings, I get worried alot and think and think almost all day what to do now ?

I suppose the moral here is never take your cell phone and a glass of water into your bedroom I think everyone has had days like that. They are so horrendous at the time and yet so often humorous at a later day. Hope things get better soon

I know! I told him why would you take the phone and the water and put them near one another? He could also accidentally knock the water down and slip and fall when getting out of bed or cut his feet on broken glass!

*L* I was sitting here thinking the same thing. I just saw a discussion topic Do you take your cell phone to bed with you? I thought, Oh, hell no! Why? Then I read this, and your response. Too funny.

Later when I wake up all the way I realize that I'm making more on payment then before. I couldn't belive that they let me do that let alone I didn't wake up enough to fig. it out lol. Yes I fixed it. back dowm to 900.00. Now I just don't answer phone or if I do I say I'm sleeping call back. I have made 3 credit card payments in my sleep. lol. I have now moved the phone. Sorry about the phone. But tell him I like it. at least he didn't bounce the checking I did that one in my sleep.lol

oh man, thats a bad start for sure! i have a couple of those craptacular days a month it seems! days when i drop everything i try to pickup..then miss it by millimeters trying to pick up it again. days after ive dropped things that i spill my drink on myself..or splash more water on my shirt and feet then i use washing the dishes. then continue the day by either smashing my knee or toes on a coffee table that hasnt moved and inch in years-always once in the morning and once before i go to bed..i can literally count on it happening!! yup..a spectacular start to what turns out to be a horribly craptacular day! LMAO!

Sure, I get one of those days...and I thought only I ever get calls from those dreadful bill collectors). And every day that they ever call I would tag as "one of those days!" But there are also those days when I didn't hear the alarm go off. And then I burn the toast or spill my milk. And there is no water to shower with because some pipe broke or the motor broke down. And then I drop my towel or some other clothing in a pool of water. And when I finally get it all together, I come out, and the elevator broke down and I have to take the stairs. By this time of course I am already in tears...and when I come into the office, and the boss is standing in my cubicle red with rage and demanding to see RIGHT NOW a memo I prepared two years ago...

I am a stay at home mom right now, but I remember having a boss just like yours! The best thing I can advise is to save EVERYTHING and categorize it by months and years, that way you will be covered. And back them up on cd's! I was just saying how I missed working, now I'm not so sure! Good luck!

Nope, I did not have just one day of that - but three straight days! I've posted a discussion that shared that experience! It was like the whole Monday to Wednesday of this week didn't make me believe I'd live to see the sunrise today.

Yes, I've had days like that and they stink. If it's not one thing it's another. Some days it just seems like you can't win no matter how hard you try. I seem to have had days like that lately too and I can totally sympathize with him.

No one has mentioned yet what that is called: It is called "Murphy's Law." That is the law that says that once it starts, "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong." That law is part of my life now and I can't seem to shake it. It manifests itself to me the first time I misplace something, anything, then it's down hill after that. I know that no one has ever had anything like that happen.

Open it up, let it dry up and it should be fine! Yes, long ago I had days like that. I had days like that even when I was married occasionally because he was in charge and forgot to pay bills. We all have days like that...consider it a vacation, as I do when things like that happen. I figure what happens is for a reason and I'm going to enjoy it, however the day turns out!

I did! It was really frustrating day, where everything went in a very disappointing ways. I mean, I just did evreything like I used to be, but somehow it went all wrong that day. The parking lot was full, and I was late for class. The lecturer somehow was in the very bad mood, and I was having a fight with my GF and she was like calling me when from the parking lot to the class. well.. it was disastrous, but lately everything went well. I hope you and your husband having a nice day too today :)

Ohh yes indeed i have had one of those days where from morning till night nothing went right. I had gone on a small trip with my friends. In the morn i got bit by some kinda insect and it hurt really badly. Then later in the afternoon while bending down to pick up a coin that had fallen down from my wallet my pant tore. Also we couldn't find a proper place to eat and were hungry all afternoon. And since it is a village area not many stalls or restaurants. At night we got a lil late and missed the last bus home. Guess what we were stranded in pitch black darkness waiting for a lift and there was no one around. Finally we saw a tempo after long time passing by and he offered us a lift back home. That was not our day. Nothing went right.

yes,I have many times, especially when I was spleeping on the bed and got the phone call in early moring from my boss or co-workers to assign the extra-work for me..since basically,I go bed late because I have many things to be done before go to bed say,It late up to 1 to 2 am. so it take 30-60 minutes for me to sleep so I have only about 3-4 hrs. to sleep ,I did set the alarm clock at 7 to wake up for my work in the morning.Unlucky I always get the call from boss and co-worker at about 6 am. while I was sleeping ,so now I turn my phone off but,The alarm function is still working even it was turned off. Now my life is got better. hope you can deal with all problem and soo havppy.... dokaor
