I don't like the idea of not knowing who's watching me but I don't think it bothers me that much. I know I'm not going to do anything wrong and get caught on camera so in that way, it is lind of a good thing but there have been some incidents where police haven't done anything about criminal activity caught on camera because they simply couldn't be bothered to go through the tapes. So in that way, they're a bit pointless.

You're right they do not help in solving crimes. When a shop near me was broken into and they had security tapes with a clear picture of the culprit, the shopkeeper also knew the name, he was told that there was not enough evidence to prosecute.

I would feel scared. I don't think the gavernment watching what you do so much. i guess if you are not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about but still.

I agree with you it is a bit scary even if you're not doing anything wrong.

It doesn't bother me one way or the other really, I just think it's a waste of money, as the others have said, some of them are just for show anyway and if a wrongdoer gets caught on camera in this country they either just get a slap on the wrists or get ignored completely.
