It's a DATE!!!

WOOHOO!!! We are so excited, and it's not even our date! Over the weekend we had our End of Summer Bash. We invite all our family and some close friends. The last couple years we've invited our neighbor - single guy - but he's never come. We're actually trying to set him up with my husband's cousin. Well, this year she was supposed to come with a boyfriend, but apparently that wasn't working out so she came alone. And, our neighbor came over also. Well, she saw a note on her car in the morning and it had his name and number and said "call me"!!!! He's a really nice guy, and they seem to have a lot in common. Well, she finally called him tonight and they're going to a race this weekend - she's way into NASCAR. She's going to come down to our house - she lives about 1 1/2 hours north - stay with us and then go to the race with him the next day - it's about 1 hour south of us. Then she's going to stay with us that night and go home the next morning. We're sooo excited!!! The only thing is that we're pretty sure the race will get rained out and we're going to have to do something local here with them, but that's ok! We don't know where this will lead, he's actually semi-moved even further south so it'll be a long-distance relationship. I think it'll be cool, even if it's only for a while.
