What is your favorite frugal and easy recipes?
I have a favorite cookie recipe because it only takes 3 ingredients.
1 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 cup sugar
Mix together, roll into balls, flatten with fork. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
Fast, easy, and gluten free for my daughter who has Celiac disease.

That is simple and things I have in my pantry. I love to find easy recipes I can make with my kids.
This isnt really a recipe but I keep a list of things we can mix in Mac and Cheese to make it a better meal. We mix in tuna and peas, Tvp, tomatoes, ground beef, can of chili, cream of chicken soup, bacon pieces and lunch meats all the time. Not everything but what ever we feel like. My kids each have a day of the week that they are incharge of dinner and my 3 year old loves her boxes of Mac. I know 3 is young to cook. Both of my kids love it and are very good at it so I feel okay with it. I am always there to make sure no one gets hurt and we dont end up eating Mac and Cheese with chocolate chips and skittles.

I really can't think of any cheap or frugal recipes at this time. I just use a lot of things to extend my recipes which means that instead of barely getting anything from a meal, I tend to get much more out of them.
However, I do have a semi cheap meal idea but it's really only cheap for my family because we can buy chicken in bulk. I'll make a veggie stir fry and throw in a handful of chopped chicken or I'll make a thing of ramen noodles and add a hint of butter, spices and some shredded cheese. Then I'll cut up one piece of chicken and toss it into the bowl of noodles and mix it up as well. It's pretty cheap, filling and tasty.

Sounds good. Spahgetti with meat sauce is always quite frugal and very delicious and filling. My wife also makes a left over soup once every couple of weeks. We save up any leftover vegetables in a freezer bag, what ever is left over except for lettuce or broccoli goes in the bag, and then it goes back in to the freezer, even if there is just a spoon full left. Even meat is saved and chopped up and thrown in the soup. The soup is made with 8 cups of water, 4 boullion cubes, salt, pepper, and a 12 oz can of tomatoe sauce. Then she will add some Italian seasoning.

I'd like to try that recipe, too!
I have several favorites when it comes to frugal and easy recipes but this one always goes over well:
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup milk
Two medium dill pickles, diced
1/4 cup onion, diced
1/2 cup cheddar or swiss cheese, diced or shredded.
Mayonnaise
Add the milk to the eggs and scramble them in a hot skillet. Leave the eggs in the skillet and add the rest of the ingredients. The cheese will melt into the eggs, so mix quickly and add enough mayonnaise to hold it all together.
This makes really good sandwiches or a main dish. I usually serve it with sliced tomatoes and baked or pork and beans.
