Digital Cameras - Luxury or a Necessity?  

a good quality camera is always a necessity when you have children as you want to capture every second of them growing up even if it is only to embarase then with when they are teenagers, i wouldnt be without mine and it lives in my hand bag constantly

for me it is a necessity... giving your self a memorable time you have to buy camera so that you can take a picture of your self along with anything in it... i guess im not alone that dont have owned camera... i just a poor man with big fat stomach...

Well, it depends on the person that uses or owns. I am not a photographer but the first thing i bought when i had my first salary was a digital camera. i have been always fascinated with photos, and every time i see something in action that i know will never come back i have nothing in my mind but clicking a camera.

my cam is a little bit expensive for a beginner and armature like me but it just fit in to whatever i want to capture and to the image quality. my camera had been my therapist, my friend, my pal and my memory.

so for someone like me who just love to put places i see in frozen, people i meet in paper, and moment i experience in albums... digital camera is like a home

when you dont have money and you bought it that is luxury but when you bought it because u and your family need it is much more for the people who wanted to see u abroad that is necessity.

here's the hint if you need it buy it and if you're out of budget stop being luxurious.

For me, it is a necessity for several reasons. I need it for my job as well as capturing those moments at an instant. I don't wanna have to worry about dragging out my huge 35mm film, adjusting everything, and missing what could never happen again. Luckily the digital camera I have now didn't cost a whole lot so I don't feel it as a luxury.

In my opinion, it is a necessity. You need as good quality camera to capture moments that are even more precious than gold right? When you are old and you look at these pictures, you would understand why it is a necessity.

As you have mentioned, anybody could probably agree that capturing moments in our lives into photographs can be considered as a necessity. It would only become a luxury when we go and spend too much like buying things that we don't really get to use at a daily basis.

I think this is a necessity because if you go so far away you dont know when you will go twice, and you can see the pictures you have taken :D and this is nice!! well for me if you have one or maybe just two digital camera is no a luxury but if you have so many digital cameras i think it is!! well have a nice day and hope you will have a very good week ;) see you soon and bye bye.

For me, it's a necessity, coz I always love to cherish the lovely moments of our lives... and it would really be great if there are pictures to be seen, aside from the thoughts... And now, anywhere we go, I do bring along my digicam... :)

Yeah Digital cams are such a fad this days that it is becoming a must in every family. Before having those camera is just an additional expense since you have to buy film over and over again to keep your memories intact. But with the dawn of Digital cams around, taking pictures is just easy as it is stored digitally which you can keep on your PC of stored in many storage devices that before it was onyl on Negative films which may cost you developing it. Nowadays if you have a good photo printer you can print the pictures you want and discard those that you don't want. Before it would depend upon the studio to print it.
