Ginger goes good in just about anything but I also tend to use a lot of onion and broccoli, though I don't like onion by itself it goes good in just about anything. I also like to make a lot of pastas but I think my family gets tired of them pretty quickly.

Most of the time I make a paste of garlic and ginger and keep it refrigerated. I also make a paste of onion, tomato, chilli and coriander. But I make it fresh just before using it in some curry. Also the most used ingredients would be the spices like turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder and cinnamon powder. Usually when I cook meat I would put all these ingredients and ofcourse salt and sugar. I use cholesterol free oil to cook, so these are my favourite cooking ingredients.

Wow you have many ingredients! When we are in India, I can easily get garlic and ginger paste. But I haven't seen one here its even hard to ginger here, we have to go to a big supermarket to be able to get ginger. Thank you for sharing and for your response

hi cjay, when i cook, i want to use butter than oil..coz it smells good and adds more to flavor. Then i want to use a lot of garlic, sweet onions, black pepper, and 5 spice powder too. I really love the smell of those ingredients and it helps me to attain the specific taste I want to achieve on the dish am cooking. I dont use MSG (monosodium glutamate) because it is harmful to the body.

Hi glay, our user name sounds a little bit the same yes? (CJay/GLay) lol. Yes butter is smell good especially when you add the garlic in the pan. I agree that MSG is not really good for our health, I use broth cube instead. Thank you so much for sharing and for your response

Being a high school male student at 16 years of age, I don't often find time to cook. Though I love cooking, and often just use basic ingredients like salt, pepper, sometimes a bit of chili powder. I also enjoy using soy sauce, and Lee Kum Kee's Black Pepper Sauce.

As a rule it seems like I add garlic powder to a lot of dishes that I prepare. It seems to go great on chicken, steak and pork. I even add garlic powder to mixed vegetables after they are done along with some butter for flavor.
I also add chicken bouillon to certain dishes also. It goes good on broccoli or mixed vegetables as well.
