Bali Tragedy related with US WTC

I remember that day as well seeing all those people hanging out the office window of the WTC waving and shouting for help that no one can help and hoow the perished just seing their las few minutes and knowing they were going to die made hav nightmares to this day and we must not fore and in your country too for this senseless murders of so many people.

Yes, it is so sad that this kind of things happen in our world today. Last night i watched the movie World Trade Center and i can't help but feel sorry and sad for all the lives that have been lost in the tragedy. So many innocent lives lost, even those men who were just doing their jobs trying to help the victims they too fell victims to the tragedy.But i salute their bravery and dedication in helping people and the compassion shared by the families though strangers to each other, they tried to console each other for they loved ones share the same fate. I just wish that nothing like this happens again.

yes it is very sad indeed. What a pity there is so much hatred in this world. Here is the USA after the tragedy for about a week the hatred people showed sorta died down. Now its back to being hateful. People actin like azzes while driving abd people unwilling to give you any help like holding a door open or letting you go ahead of them in line. There are many more and I am sure you have witnessed many. I am sorry that your country had to experience a tragedy also. PEACE

Thats the sad thing terrorism brings, think about the family of the victims ad even if you survive chances are you will bring the scar and emotional trauma wherever you go

It is really a great tragedy to have those unlucky accidents from happening. It is the same here with me that I hope that there will be no more such accidents as to cause any loss of life. Have a good day to you as well, dear winzpc.

As an American, I feel we sometimes lose touch with the fact that these tragedies happen all around the world, every day...Yes, it seems worse when it happens on your native soil. However, violence is something that strikes everywhere and at anytime, without care for the victims involved. I feel for eveyone that has to deal with this type of horror. I pray for a peaceful world, one where we don't have to fear these sort of happenings. Peace!

That is sad that so many people died in that sort of accident..I do feel for them and their familys left behind..but there are more and more of these accidents with planes it is obviously investigated but guess there will always be that kind of thing happen and thats sad..littleowl

hi winzpc I still remember that day so well as we watched
glued to the telesision. the horror of seeing people from the
top floors jump to their deaths rather than being burned alive in burning airplane fuel. Its horror has ingrooved it in my mind. I hope to God this never happens in our USA again as long as
I live.

Bali Terrorist Attacks
(Senator Lundy) In the wake of the truly horrific events in Bali last week, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the human spirit that has emerged from this tragedy.

Watching and reading the news over the past week has been an emotional and confronting experience for all of us, but especially for those who have lost family and friends in the terrorist bombings. There is, however, something that has shone forth as I read and watched the media reports from Bali. It is the efforts made by Australian sporting teams and individual sportswomen and sportsmen to find, support and assist their team mates and their families.

I have often referred to sport as the social glue that binds communities together. That is why so many sports teams go to Bali at the end of the season. They go there because, over the course of a season or seasons, lifelong friendships are formed and team harmony is cemented when you train, play and relax together.

In Australia, sport is not just an activity or an entertainment. It is embedded in our psyche as well as in our society, economy, politics, sense of identity, culture and history. Australia is known as a nation that takes its sport very seriously; but, as we have seen over the past week, sport imparts many other qualities than just competitiveness. .....
