You're right in saying this is a difficult and hard subject. However, I think what you're asking is if someone's prejudiced.
I'm Christian, but don't consider myself "religious" in the common understanding of the word. To me, it simply means observance of rites/rituals that don't even lend to thinking about God, despite the symbolism. I prefer the term "spiritual" because it implies living life according to your belief, and this is more meaningful and, in my opinion, matters more to God.
And to answer your question, I respect others' "religious" beliefs, despite not being in agreement to these.

I consider myself as a "religious" person despite my weaknesses. Yes I do respect other people 's religion whatever it maybe. Even though I don't share their beliefs. Respect, tolerance should be a priority to mankind. That's the way forward to peace , love and unity.

I am not a very religious person but I do have faith and believe in the Lord. I do have my struggles with faith sometimes but I believe it keeps me grounded when I am feeling down.
Sometimes I have a hard time coping with life and I do pray from time to time.
There are moments when I lose my beliefs in a higher power but I would rather believe in something than nothing at all.
