How Will You Spend the Money that You Won from the LOTTERY?

Luck luck luck. All of us wishes to have this one time big time thing in life. Who wouldn't want it. I understand hard work is the best there is in honing our personality and attitude towards life, but its also not a bad thing to be blessed by a lot of wealth. So from the effort you put on placing a bet almost everyday on the lottery is considered as somehow hardwork too. Not only you work with a company and go straight home after your shift, instead you fall in this really long line just to take chances that you might hit it big time so you'll reach your short term goals concerning money. Also, it can be a replacement or a substitute for smoking. Just spend your money in the lottery than in a pack of cigarettes. If you were given this luck, one time. What will you do the the jackpot money? Based from your goals and your current status in life. State at least (3) three actions that you will do from this blessing. Me, the first thing I will do is donate the 10% of this jackpot money to our church "Every Nation" Baguio City because in the first place it was given to you by God as a blessing and I want to use it to contribute to the growth of my church. Second, I would invest the money or some sufficient amount that will have interest until I reach the point that money works for me instead of me working for money. Third and the last, maybe before doing the second action that I just jotted, I would buy first the basic necessities for our everyday life which is a car, a house, and clothes. To be exact, I'd like two vehicles, 1 is for luxury and the other would be for everyday use. I'd probably go for a Jaguar to sport my luxury needs and a Honda Crv suv for family use. Purchase a house in a prominent village and go shopping at Ben Sherman, Fred perry, Debenhams, Paul Smith, Burberry, and Collezione. Lol.. the next actions are travel, see the world and buy CDs. So there it is, that would be my first 3 steps to take if I win the lottery. Who knows, anything is possible. Luck is unpredictable.

Oh your plans are all drawn in a very precise manner. I do that most of the time when I am sitting on the bathroom, I think about wining the lottery(though I don't bet often). But when I do win my priority is my family, build some houses for my siblings and my mom. Then I would invest my money on apartments ( I will build a lot) then I will build a house intended for my kids when they grow up. Too many wishful thinking, but yeah who knows, after all dreaming is free

whew..its really hard to decide about it.. because when the money is in your hand its very difficult to control spending it.. but be practical, put it in a way that even the money you have won in the lottery is gone, but the interest or the fruit of that tree is growing and growing..put it in a business or try putting it in a time deposit bank account so that it will gain interest that will multiply the original amount:]

I have always wanted to visit New Zealand, it has been my dream for many years now but the distance and expense has put me off, so if I won money from the lottery I would have an all expenses paid trip there with all the excursions and trips laid on and possibly my own personal tour guide to take me to the best places! I would also buy my own home because I love my independence, I would make sure all my relatives were comfortable, depending on how much I won. I would also donate money to my two favourite charities, cancer and blind to help them. I wouldn't waste it, I would be frugal.

Well, the best advice is have a "panic budget". Lol. So in case you just want to spend..just refer to your panic budget.

This is a very interesting discussion. Actually, I've been thinking about winning a lottery a few days back. Haha. And I also had a plan on how to spend it. Well, first of all I would also give 10% of it to my local church, Victory Los Banos. Second, I'll help my family and sponsor some of my cousin's education. And the rest of the money I'll use to put several businesses (internet cafe, apartment, bookstore, coffee shop and bakery) and also invest in stocks and real estate. ;D

My husband and I owuld like to buy a limo and hire a private driver when we win the lottery. Neither of us drive, and we are tired oof not being able to go to certain places because of transportation issues, It'll be great once we have a personal driver, and our own car.

Hi, hearing these answers makes me feel good. There are still many people that really cares especially for the old fellows. Recently, I visited my grandmother and she was under supervision of my evil aunt who just gets her money and even admit her in a crampy hospital. I really admire you because you dont forget the old people. Thanks and God bless you and your kind heart.

Maximise the potential. First, pay off all my debts, second, invest a generous amount in an investment where it will grow and thirdly, try to get things to improve my life and earning potential. Like a better car, a few appliances, clothes, take a course in earning some extra money or things like that. People don't win the lottery everyday so you need to maximise the potential.

Hi, the first thing I do is invest the amount necessary to keep my daughter in the university untill the end of the degree and her life to make her an independent woman. After that I will travel all the world and when I see some people in need I will help them. The third, I will buy a big house with pool and a very big garden to keep it full of flowers and trees. I will buy two cars: one for my daughter and another, sport like Ferrari or Jaguar for me. Cheers and have a nice day.

wow! if i win big time, first, ill definitely donate something to the charity and to the church. second, ill invest it in a business so that i will not work all my life. and lastly, i will buy important things like a house (just two condo units will do =)), cars for the whole family and buy things that i cant afford right now. well, there's nothing wrong in dreaming... who knows, one of us will be the jackpot winner in the lottery.

First, I would donate a very large amount to fund cancer research. Second, I would pay for fertility treatments, because my husband and I have been unable to get pregnant. Having a large sum of money would help us conceive because we could afford to pay for the necessary treatments. Third, I would buy a big house and adopt many kids in need. I would be able to give them the kind of life they deserve.

I salute you. I am glad that there is a person like you that wants to somehow help in reducing poverty by helping some of the future leaders of our land which are the children. Thanks and God bless you.

First thing i'll do is to donate money to our church then give some to a charitable institution. 2nd: I'll share my blessings to my family and relatives... I'll buy my mom a nice house in Ayala Alabang or in BF executive village.. =) 3rd: Run my own business. (restaurant/bar or fashion boutique)

I have never won money from lottery. But someday I'd love to win some :) Here's probably what I'd do with it. I'd keep some for myself, spend some on my friends and relatives and the rest on charity.

I would try to settle my mortgages first and help the rest of my family with their needs. I would also spend money on travelling abroad and helping those who are in need. Instead of giving charity to a particular institution I would prefer helping those whom I get to know first hand experience that would need the money.
