The following article dates back a little to the time when BHO had just announced his intention to run for president. Although it is a little dated, the facts in it still remain the same. Barack Obama, when faced with controversial votes in the Illinois senate chose to be a non-voter rather than place himself on one side or the other! This indecision and lack of personal responsibility combined with his absolute empty rhetoric of "change" should be enough cause for pause! Twist, twist, twist, Maybe what we should do is continue "the Bush way" which is to try to spread Democracy by going into a country and bomb the living s*i* out of it. Except, that is not what DEMOCRACY is all about. Not only that but the example provided does not mean all those steps (sighing at the idiocy of it all), but is the way the country is set up to operate and does not include waiting for an election. repulicans... hmmmm stupidlicans? repudilicans? I am sure we can come up with something.

Actually, it was Clinton who bombed the sh!t out of Iraq to soften them up for the coming invasion. It was also Clinton who signed the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 that made it US policy to depose Saddam. Take some time to learn about the issues before you comment... that way you don't look quite so silly.

zydecokitten, Maybe if Clinton had used the military for what it for, Defending our country, Then 9-11 might not have happened.

Zydecokitten, Thanks for the comment. First, Bush didn't just go to Iraq and bomb the $hit out of it. He went to Iraq, with the approval of congress, to remove a tyrant who wasn't complying with the peace treaty, signed by Hussien himself, from the first gulf war. Second, REAL democracy is where the people decide who governs them not whoever is the strongest and has the most power(such as is the case in a dictatorship)kinda like what Iraq hs today which the terrorists and ant-democracy Islamists are fighting so hard to destroy! Call the republicans what you want but your candidate Obama hasn't got a clue!

Senator Obama has stated how he will handle a problem. We need to work with our allies and consult with them. We then we need to work with the UN and sit down and talk to our enemies. With that done we can then form a committee to decide on a plan of action. If we are going to use the military we need to have the Joint Chiefs draw up a plan. He will then consult with Congress and finally get a plan of action to follow. Hold it we have to wait until after the election and see if anything new develops. At which time we need to consult with the new governments of our allies. In the meantime a new crisis will develop and we can forget the first, second, third and fourth crisis.

Bobmnu, Thanks for the comment! Great analogy! I believe if Obama is elected this is exactly the way everything and every decision will be done! America will be voting "present" on everything!

Well put Bob! See, that's the problem. He's never been anything but a senator and he's used to spending weeks and months making simple decisions. He's never had to make quick decisions. He just doesn't understand how such things work.

If he can't make a decision as senator, then what makes anyone think 0bama is capable of making decisions as president?

Destiny, Thanks for the comment! I don't guess Obama or any of his followers really get's it. No decision is a decision itself in reality. It is a decision to turn your back!

rodney850, Thanks for posting this, But come on,you can't expect the libs to check his voting record. They just want a President who talks good and knows how to say "nuclear".
