It can happen. Here there are some famous online games and occasionally I learned that if you really do well in these online games. Then you have to be careful because your account can be stolen. Most of them are caused by the Trojan. I think these people are quite silly. After all, it's only a game and why they have to steal others' accounts. Playing a game is an enjoyable entertainment. If you stole others' accounts, you already missed the happy process of playing a game.

Well, that would really depend on the kind of game, doesn't it?
Some online games has real life values tagged to them.
For example, some games require you to get some special items like magical items. Or accumulate points to gain online wealth which can be traded in real life for money to buy perks within the game.
These are the kind of game accounts that get hacked and hijacked or stolen. Cos of the real life value that the collection or wealth of these online accounts that can be traded for money.
Others just do it cos they can. It is to prove something to themselves.
In that being able to steal the account is a game in itself. That is where they derive their fun.

Well... it is not my online game account that has been stolen. It is worse than that. I have my friendster account had been stolen a year ago. I worked hard to get my friends from many places, and I guess I have reached more than 1000 friends out there. Real friends, but then someone just took it and said that he has hacked my profile, so that from then I have never opened any friendster account. It is not safe

Yes I did. Several times, from asking for new password but it seems that the hacker also had changed the e-mail address as well and I also had sent some support ticket to claim back my account but there was no feed back from the admin-team. I was so upset back then but now, I know that I could live without those social networks LOL.

Seems like nothing is safe nowadays does it? I find that so very sad that people have to resort to stealing your account just because you are doing well, it's jealousy, the big green eyed monster, it's only a game after all and if you can't win fair and square why cheat? What is the point in cheating? These people are indeed silly, there is another word I could call them my friend but as you know I am far too polite to mention it ;0)

i don't have that experience, but i always forget my online games's account or password. how stupid. because i have too many account, sometimes i don't use the same name and same password. so after months, i can't remember them. i try to use so many names and password to open it, it will took me a long time sometimes. it is funny, hehe, the others don't stole my accounts, but myself, i stole the my own accounts by my bad memories.
