Rubbing their hands together in glee?

When I read this on Yahoo news as I was logging in this morning: "Executives whose companies get a piece of the $700 billion government bailout will have their pay packages strictly limited under proposals that are broadly supported by both Republicans and Democrats" it made me wonder how many execs were rubbing their hands together in gleeful joy looking forward to getting their hands on large portions of the bailout money... Geeesh! Hope they keep a close watch on those funds! Do you think it is about time some(all) of these fat cat tops o' companies get a little less in profits and reward/vacation and bonus packages?

Well, that bailout hasn't happened YET and "we the people" better hope that it doesn't! Those "fat cats" rubbing their hands together need to join the real world! I'd just love to see them have to live off minimum wages and not get to ride in a limo or spend hundreds on just one meal! I hope and pray that someone wakes up and noticed how red our Presidents nose is and thinks about the signs of too many casual cocktails. Bush has money and will profit from this bailout too, and THAT ain't right!

It's for sure greed will cause the crashing of the systems sooner or later.. greed will be what destroys the jobs and the resources.. and unfortunately washington simply bickers, trying to bury the other party is the name of the game, so there isn't much oversight (or logic) over anything!

This whole story sickens me. I can't tell you how angry I am. I can't help but wonder if some or all of them planned this, knowing how much of the countries economy, even the worlds economy depends on them. And I have to wonder why so much has depended on these businesses and for so long. I'm also angry because the republican party tried to prevent something like this from happening and the democrats were in their way all along. On the other hand, I'm hopeful that this especially with the elections so close, will bring us together again. I'm praying that we all start paying more attention to who are elected officials are and what they are doing. And, I'm believing that America can come thought this stronger and united more than ever so we can make a bigger example and impact on the toward freedom for all people of the world.

I heard a comment on CSpan that they should give tax payers about 2.2 million each instead of bailing out these companies. It would probably make more sense and work better.
