This morning started out fine. My son called from school, one of his friends, was killed in a car accident on the way to school. His brother was driving him to school, which is in the country, and didn't stop for a stop sign. His brother walked away from the accident, but was lifeflighted, because he went crazy because he killed his brother. He hit a car of a teacher, who was pregnant and had two small children in the car. The teacher was lifeflighted, along with one other person, although we are not sure who at this point. The teacher is pregnant.
This evening we get another phone call from my mother. Her neighbor, whom we are very close to their family, was on the way to the next town. Her grandson was in a motorcycle accident. He is approximately 24. He was lifeflighted too.
Please send lots of thoughts and prayers to these families, they are really going to need it.

This is indeed a terrible sad events. We need to be extra careful while travelling on the road. I hope and pray that these families will find peace in the comforting arms of God.

Oh my! What an awful day you have had my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and friends through this tough time. I know this is easier said than it is to believe when going through so much, but God doesnt give us more than we can handle. I know it sometimes seems he trusts us too much, but he knows best and all will be okay in the end. Keep your chin up, and things will get better.

You are very kindly and friendly!I pray for the families which are in trouble! So we should cherish our life.We should think 3 times when we make a decision. For example, walking across the street and so on.Only doing this,we could walk away from the King of Terrors!

ONG--how horrible. I hope you will give updates if you can give us updates of how everyone is doing....how the pregnant woman is doing for instance and her children, and the brother of your son and how he's coping. Sending prayers to those families

The only update that I have heard is they are keeping the boy sedated, that killed his brother. The other accident, the guy gets to come home in a couple of days, although he factured his neck and has to be in a halo until it heals, so that it does not move and paralyze him. I have heard no updates on the lady or her kids.

What a tragic day!
I will say prayers for those poor people, I can't begin to imagine their agony. I hope the boy whose brother was killed can be helped to realize that although mistakes are tragic, it was an accident.

Those are two heartbreaking stories. I feel so bad for the families. I could not imagine being the driver of the car. He will have so much guilt that may never go away. My prayers go out to all involved in both situations. I pray for you and your son also.
