Ok...let me reach in and grab my 1 year old self out and try to help.
Laugh a lot. Run a little but, remember your legs aren't entirely steady yet so, try not to fall but, probably fall now and then because it can be fun and it makes the adults both laugh and get a little worried. It's fun to see their conflicted faces. LOL!
When the gifts come out, pay closer attention to the wrapping paper because it is way more interesting than the potentially expensive gift inside the paper.
And, the cake. Get your hands in it up to your armpits. Then, with sugary, frosting coated hands, rub your head. Just really get it in there. Make sure your hair is covered in frosting. Aspire to be the cake!
Have fun!

Hey Kitty,
The Best thing you can do is bring an awesome gift. You'll be the life of the party. Grandma always has to give a good gift. Right?

Hi Pretty..just got home and had so much fun with all the babies..well 3 of them were grandchildren of babies and 2 others of my grandchildren are 10 and 18 soon in 2 days..
Well I gave a huge diaper box and a card with $50.00 in it..so this way they can get what they need since all the other gifts were riding toys..Calvin had a blast watching the cousins and other kids playing with his toys..lol..he's so good hearted and I'm so happy he is..

I would go and enjoy myself. I think your grandson would be glad to see you at his party no matter how you would behave.

Get down on the floor! Crawl around with him, play with blocks, eat with your fingers, enjoy the simple things like jumping when a balloon pops. Look at things from his level and enjoy the basics. Don't be afraid to get dirty and don't use a napkin.

I must admit to acting like a 1yo fairly often! Seriously, a good tip would be to get down to their level - on the floor with them - and let them use you as a climbing frame! You can do this with your OWN friends, too - leads to lots of fun and amusement! Enjoy your grandson's party ...

Hi Grandma Rosekitty, I have no doubt that you will be just
fine and the perfect Grandma Kitty ever! You don't need
anyone's help to be a perfect Grandma! Your baby will just
love you because you are you and you are there! No one can
tell you what you already know! You have had lots of practice
at lots of grandbabies birthday parties and you will do just
fine! Just bring the baby the prezzie and have fun. Help the
little one blow out the candle on the cake and sing the
birthday song and make sure that he or she doesn't get
scared and start crying at their birthday party! Just be
a good Grandma Kitty like you always are and have fun!
I'm sending you lots of Love & Hugz & Purz to give to
the birthday baby! Love, Opalkitty
