If you already reached $10, are you more likely to not visit MyLot that month?

I don't reach $10 each month, I just don't post enough. Usually every 2 to 3 months. If I am close to the $10 (like $9 and up) I will try to post more that month, otherwise, I just let it go until next month. I have been coughing and then I caught a cold on top of that, and I kept planning to stop by, but then I wanted to sleep instead. I might have stopped by if I was at $9.50 or something because I've been waiting and waiting to buy something fun for myself on eBay. But then, I'm already just barely past $10 so I wasn't too worried.
Do you worry about the payout at all? Or not really? I mostly just am on MyLot for fun myself, as this isn't a lot of money where I live. But it is fun to buy something on eBay guilt free once I get my $10.

I am on mylot to have fun, to make friends and lastly to earn money. So I don't worry if reach the $10 minimum target each month or not. As long as I keep making friends and having fun I don't mind it at all.

Yeah, I've lost track of a few discussions while I've been sick and not online much. I do try my best to keep track of the discussions I'm posting on. I think if I posted more than I already do I would lose track of a lot more discussions from posting so much.

I've noticed that the notification system has really improved. In the past once you got past 2 replies or something, it didn't always send a notice out. So I'm thankful for this current notification system too, it really helps me stay on top of things.

I reached payout on the 17th I think it was, but I am still posting about the same amount of posts every day. I am here to earn money, so I am going to earn as much as I can each day, no matter what my balance happens to be at the time...

well I surely am not going to try to survive on what I am making here, but every little bit helps...it is fun more than anything though.

10 dollars is nothing but when you get past the 20$ mark then its useful to me. I love the tons of tshirt sites online, stuff you cant get in the mall. So for me when I reach 10$ its a good feeling because I passed the hard part (its harder to just see single digits than doubles). My first payout which just passed September 1st suprised me how far it went. There's this really funny site called Baronbob.com, it was funny because the thing I thought so cool was this huge oversized fish pillow, lol. It was so pretty though and only 12.97.

I do work harder at the end of the month to be involved if I'm close to reaching $10. It would be nice to have that happen earlier in the month, so I could coast, though.
As one who cannot work anymore, every little bit helps.

This month, Ike took our power away for over 4 days, and that has made a huge difference.

There are other things like writing though where you can earn more money online. When I used to write it worked out to about $10 an hour, which wasn't bad. Now it's hard to find anything that pays much, but writing still pays more than posting on MyLot if you can come up with articles people want to read.
Definitely every little bit helps though.

I actualy try to reach it as early as possible and then take it easy - whatever I earn over the amount is then a bonus! I have now set my payput higher though now so I will get a bigger payout rather than tiny ones. x

That's a good idea. I thought about setting my payout higher, but it already takes me 2 to 3 or more months to reach the $10 payout. Plus I tend to buy little things on eBay lately anyway so $10 can sometimes buy a pair of earrings or something like that.

Oh that is smart. One year I used my online earnings to buy holiday presents for everyone on my list. That was back when I did more online stuff though. This year at the very least I will be better at budgeting and stick to the budget I set out to stick to.
I have found that by only allowing myself to use online earnings to buy jewelry, I don't end up going too crazy with buying a bunch of jewelry because I just don't make that much online anymore.

Yea makes sense - thing is for me though is I am saving all earnings no matter how small towards my holiday spending money for next year so it;'s better if I let it build as then I can't spend it!! lol

I never worry about the payout because I made it easily every month without much effort.
I spend a lot of time here and myLot is a big part of my life. I don't have to be concerned about hurrying to reach anything, because it's automatic based on the amount of activity here.

That's good if you're not worried about it at least. I read about people on here trying to make a bunch of money and I just think about how sad and angry they're going to be. If you try to think of MyLot as a job, I think it would be quickly disappointing. But it's definitely a fun place.
I can't say it's a big part of my life though really. I have 2 jobs plus I go to school full time, so I don't really have too much time to be on here. But it is a fun little occasional getaway and every few months I get $10 as an added bonus.

I have reached my minimum payout for last month (September),today is 1st of October, but I still keep trying hard in Mylot to get more earnings. It's true,it's not a big money to earn from Mylot. But somehow it's like a reward after we have put our efforts in it. I like this sense of success. Lol. Now I am working hard for October, hopefully I can reach my payout as soon as possible. Cheers.

I guess once i reach $10 i wouldnt be that active anymore. It's just too long to reach payout here and the pay per post or reply is too small. But i still like mylot because i get to meet alot of interesting people and respond to different topics of relevance. I definitely would still visit mylot but it wouldnt be because of profit anymore, but because of the fun.

Yeah, that's what I'm here for... the fun.
Because if I was here for the money, I think I'd be way too disappointed. Lately I haven't had much spare time so I haven't been on for a few days. But hopefully when I get caught up with my classes and stuff I will be back.

I really don't stop at $10 although I am new. I have hit $10 already and now have gone past it. I too am saving up for something special. So I want to save all the money I can get. So no it doesn't stop me from posting. It took me 1 month and 2 weeks to hit my first payout. I am pretty active unless I got another engagement or something.

That is cool. I try to save up for things from time to time with my online earnings. Usually I do mine more through writing, but lately I haven't had enough to write about to earn any money at it. But once I saved up for an autoharp but selling things on eBay, writing articles, and posting on MyLot. Over $500 later, I bought me an autoharp.
Currently what motivates me to save small amounts is that I want to increase my jewelry collection a bit.

Well I have still not made it to payout for even the first time. So I try every once in a while to post and to respond to discussions just so I can try to get closer to the payout amount. There have been several times recently that I have missed days coming here or when I am here not post very much and just go on to some other site and play a game or something. I would like to make it to payout but for right now i am alright with the fact that I have not made it yet. I know it is close to pay out time again and this will be the second month that I have not gotten one. The first month there was a good or at least ok reason for it. That would because of the fact that I did not think that I could make the 10 dollars in a week or less.

Aw, well hopefully you will make it for this month. This time I am actually trying a little bit since I want to get some more Christmas presents online and need all the money I can get. But considering I'm at $2 currently, I doubt I can make it. Oh well, next time.

Even i reached my payout already early on this month, i still visit mylot most of the day. I am looking for the new discussions to be responded. And also i am aiming to reach the 1000 more post every month. I am concluded that mylot really affects on me,even we can only earn here few cents but i feel i am emotionally attached to mylot since i joined here. Happy posting.

Wow, 1000 posts in a month is a lot!
I do feel attached to MyLot sometimes, but just not attached enough to come on when I'm sick or don't actually have any time to spare. So every so often I'll be out for a few days from MyLot. Some message boards I'll check no matter what, but I know I can kind of hop in at any time on this one so I don't worry about it too much.

I don't even know if I will ever GET to $10. I'm exhausted after just 3 days! The amount that I would have to post overwhelms me! But I will keep trying for now! :)

If I'm already at the payout, I usually try to work a bit harder to squeeze by a bit more before the end of the month. I mean, every little bit that I get here helps, so I try to get as much money as I possibly can before the next month starts.

no not actually, if i am close to reaching my payout amount i still been very much active i just let it be. but at least, of course i am not that worried if im going to make it or not. i can somehow relax and not panic on posting. in fact i am starting to be very much excited to reach the payout amount. happy mylotting!

since i have more time online, i was able to reach minimum payout each month. since i became active, it been 2 successive months that i am able to reach payout without any pressure. i usually reach them 5 days before cut off date and once i am there already, i usually would be slacking already, knowing that i am safe now. i am able to find time to log in everyday and post something so not to get blank in that day.

Well, I'm going to be on here as much as possible no matter what, whether I am over payout or not. If I am under payout, though, I will feel more pressure to go on, though since I enjoy it here I think it's going to be pretty easy for me to reach payout every month anyway.
