I sometimes catch myself shopping because I am bored and not really because I need to buy anything. Or I will wander around and keep shopping after I get what I need. It is a problem because sometimes i spend money I should not be spending. Do you find yourself shopping when you really do not need anything?

Window shopping, yes. But like you I would end up spending money I shouldn't. Hubby would frown on it. So I try not to start. If I absolutely must, a quick trip to the local dollar store with my daughter can settle the urge. Plus it is fun for her.

I have the same problem. If I'm bored at school then I suggest we get ready and just go to a store. I know we really don't need to go, especially if there was not anything on my shopping list, but being bored means going shopping for me sometimes. I've really tried to get out of that habit. I'm trying to stay in more so I can keep my money more but it's hard sometimes. In this town there isn't much to do. You either go out to 100 different bars or you wander around stores.

I wish I could do this.Being a woman I would love to shop, whether needed or not.We are rightly credited with the title of shopoholics.I see so many people buying stuffs and going for shopping frequently. But I always have a tight budget,so no matter how much I would like to buy things,I just don'rt have that much money to buy.So I end up doing window shopping mostly.LOL

I don't normally go out shopping unless one of my favorite stores is having a good sale, if not I will just stay at home and browse online stores. I have made a few wish list so I can go back and get what I want once it's on sale.

Hi lily. Nope I dont do that. I just have some workout when Im bored or read some newspaper. In the shopping mall, your boredom will vanish together with your money.

Yes! I do. I feel exactly what you're doing. I will wander around the shop until i get something on my hand. I won't leave the shop until i hold something with me. Is that how you feel too? I know it's a very bad habit, but i can't stop myself from doing it. When i know i will do so, i will bring myself to a book store and that's why i have about thousand books in my room.(I think it's more)

My budget is fairly tight, so I don't have that luxury these days. Actually, I don't even go out very often these days; I spend most of my time working from home or working on a major (currently non-paying) project. I have certain goals that I am working toward, and I know that shopping sprees will sabotage those goals.
