Walked half a mile and danced for half an hour. That was my cardio.

I now have 20 cents in cans and bottles to go with my walking. I used our satelight TV to find some music on the music channels to dance to.The 50s, 60s, Blue Grass, and Pop. I had to keep changing stations because they play something fast and then something slow. I liked the Swing station we used to get because that was more stable as far as speed.
So what did you do for cardio today and how is your cardio coming along?

Lazy this week, catching up on some writing assignments. Actually, varying the pace is supposed to burn more fat off. Sounds fun. We do not have bottles to cash, but I know where to find cans tomorrow.

What kind of work do you do? I have another writing assignment to get done, so I am just getting started early, then gone, until the research and writing is done. I also had an interview for another part time job, to go with my current part time job.I am doing extra hours there. I tend to work at almost anything that is legal.

I've missed you. But then I've been here more this week than I ever have been here. Trying to get as much money as I can since job hunting seems to be a bust right now. Take care and thanks.

Have to admit I am lazy when it comes to exercising. Have a bad back that keeps me from doing much of anything in the morning. Takes awhile before I can move around without pain after first waking up. Don't want to start out with a stiff back and hip that are overworked and disturb the nerve in one leg that likes to pinch at times. Physically I am in good shape for my age although everyone could use a little cardio throughout the day. I use to walk around a lake in the late afternoon or evening with a friend until the pinched nerve came into play.
Ahhh, the 50's and 60's music are my favorite.

The 50s are very upbeat. Some of the 60s are alright. I have to really be lucky to hit the good stuff on that station.
Since this really damp fall weather, my mornings are a challenge, too. Well, we do what we can when we can. Take care.

I hope your weather continues to be nice and I hope you get a chance to do more walking. Thank you for the words of encouragement. I need it.

You are doing much better than I..I did hike Sunday and did some dancing last night, but not for half an hour because we ran out of room..(which I am fixing tonight)..Then today I did some dancing again, but again not enough, I am going to have this room cleared out because I am having company tomorrow, and I will catch up with you..(BTW, most of my dancing is high speed dancing..

I'm starting off slowly with the dancing, but I like to do mountain jigging or clogging and the free style can get fast. I have never been able to keep up with the surfer tune "Wipe Out," but I would like to try. Take care

Tuesday is often my long work day so I got no cardio today (boo-hoo). I will get my 10,000 steps tomorrow, though. I miss it when I don't get my walking in. I either walk outdoors or on my treadmill. And I swim when the weather permits. Sometimes my Thursdays are long workdays also. But if I get 4 days of exercise in, I'm pleased.
Your dancing sounds fun!
