What do you prefer Eat with Hand or Eat with Spoon and Fork? |
|
Hi Friends, I have seen chinees people eat those rice and noodles with Chopsticks. I tried it and failed. Ok leave that to side. My Question is how do you prefer to eat.? Do you prefer Only Eat with Hand, or do you always require Spoon and Fork.? I usaully prefer Hand but not always, again depends what i am eating. If it is Roti or Non what we prepare in India i use hand, other if it is a rice or gravy items i prefer Spoons and forks. SO friends how do you eat your food.?

jnk3dfx (345) | 1 year ago | Ha ha, That was a good sense of humar. Thanks for replying to dis discussion. Most of western contry people have this habbit of always eating food with Spoons and forks. But I think in this Subcontinent of India,Srilanka,Bangaldesh,Nepal,Tibet and Pakistan are much more into eating with hand. Any ways thanks a lot for your reply to this discussion.

2. ralphcharleston (429) | 1 year ago | I do much prefer to eat using spoon and fork rather that eating with my bare hands. Its more comfortable and im already use to it. Another alternative is using chopsticks, especially when i am eating in a japanese restaurant i use chopsticks.

|
jnk3dfx (345) | 1 year ago | Good, First Thanks FOr replying. Ya Even I tried to use those Chopsticks usually for these chinees and Japanees food. But no luck, always i fail. I found its very hard to eat with chopstick so i dropped that plan. But As i told earlier we Indians are much confirtable with eating with Bare Hand. Because we will be knowing how clean our hand then those spoons or forks.

ralphcharleston (429) | 1 year ago | Im not an indian so i prefer using spoon and fork. Im half filipino chinese so another alternative for me is dining with chopsticks. You cant compare yourself to everyone or nationality since we have different preferences and styles.=)

3. chirantani (1158) | 1 year ago | I don't prefer eating with hands,thats why I require a spoon or a fork. Eating with hands is a bit unhygienic.
| |
| |
|
|
jnk3dfx (345) | 1 year ago | Unhygenic, Good thought. So you think those spoons are more hygenic.? You will be knowing what are things you have done with your hand but you will not be know where that spoon was lating before you eat with it. Anyways deferent people deferent culture and so many approachs. Thanks A Lot for sharing your thoughts. More thoughts are always welcome from you.:)

rakittera (444) | 1 year ago | A lot of people here in the Philippines use their hands to eat. I don't think it is unhygienic unless you're in the habit of not washing your hands. Filipinos are generally very neat people and we always... always wash our hands before and after eating, whether we eat with our hands or with spoon and fork.
| |
|
|
jnk3dfx (345) | 1 year ago | Thats a very good habbit of washing hands before you eat. Doesnt matter you are eating with spoons or bare hands, one should always wash thier hands before they eat. thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts. I expect more such thoughts from you in future.

4. lovenluck (676) | 1 year ago | East or west my hands are the best. People from other places think it's quite unhygienic and prefer the spoon and fork but In india most of us prefer out hands and I am no different. I feel to foood is all about taste and i don't get the real taste until and unless i use my hands to eat it lol.

jnk3dfx (345) | 1 year ago | Great, East or Wet Hands are best. Even I prefer same as you. Atleast i have one person supporting my style. Thanks a lot. And I dont think eating with hands are unhygenic unless you wash you hand properly. Keep you hand clean and neet so that you stomuch will be clean and neet. Thanks A lot for sharing your thoughts, always welcome more such thoughts from you.:)

|
jnk3dfx (345) | 1 year ago | Good Subha, most of the Indians do the same. At home eat with Hands and in restaurants use spoons or chopsticks for chinees food. Even my family members do like that. I dont think eating with bare hands that UnHygenic if you wash your hand properly before eating isnt'it.? Anyways thanks for sharing your thoughts. Have a nice day.

7. kun2349 (7178) | 1 year ago | It all depends on what i'm eating^_^ If i'm eating noodles, i will be using chopsticks and spoon.. But if i'm eating rice, it will be fork and spoon.. When it comes to chicken chop etc, it will be knife and fork for me^_^ But when it comes to roti prata or bread, chicken wings or other fried stuffs, i will surely be using my hands, because those things will only taste better when eating it with our hands.. haha

jnk3dfx (345) | 1 year ago | You made me feel hungry by mentioning those foods. I am really hungry now. I want chicken. Anyways, first the new pic of Casper is good, looks great. And about your response, you are very much right. I think not only you most of the people in subcontinent, use this method. Depends upon what food they are eating the eating method will change.
Good that you shared your thought with me, I was expecting you to respond this discussion when i was drafting this discussion. Thanks A Lot Again.

jnk3dfx (345) | 1 year ago | I always feel like eating roti or non or parata with spoon or fork is very tough. May be i have very less experience cutting those rotis or nons into pieces. Thats why i dont prefer Spoons for Roti and Paratas. I think you have good experience using Spoons and Fork for those rotis isnt'it..?

But my question is how people can trust those spoons and fork which are cleaned by others when they cant trust thier own hands..? Anyways diferent people will have diferent culture and opinion. And that makes this MyLot Special as all cultured people share thier thoughts and expierience in a single place.
Its very nice to recieve response from you Maxilimian. Thanks A Lot for sharing your thoughts.
