Nope, not for me ^_^ I will prefer to have something cute and nice to be my avatar, just like my casper, since i spend most of my time on mylot.. lol =D As for my own picture, i can see myself everyday in the mirror, and thus i dun wanna see myself here again.. lol =D But now, it seems like the trend is to upload one's own picture, and i think i should consider this option too.. haha

I always use my own picture. I don't see a reason not to. I may not be the hottest thing out there, but I am who I am. What good does it do to put a photo of someone else that others might find attractive? Do they think it is going to make people respond to more of their discussions or something?

Yes, what i uploaded in my picture is my picture. I don't have to use and pretend to be someone here in mylot because i have a good intention here, to earn money and to have a lot of friends.

hellow rock star,yes i thought that and yesterday i have put my own picture as my avatar . hope u like it i think. as i have told u ,yesterday in one discussion that , u also put one clear original photo of u.then we will be more happy to see u. i want to see many others faces also ,who are friends for me and want to make many other friends also.

nope..so far i only put my real image on network site like twitter..but for this kind of site,i put other image..it's boring to display your image on every site that you join,right!

Yup. I always use my own photo in my profile whether in Facebook, Multiply or here in MyLot. I don't see the point of me using a photo of celebrities, animals or any one else. I think it's more preferable to use your own photo, but it realy depends on what the person likes.

I don't mind upload my own photos. I finally uploaded my son's photo in my profile because he is so cute and important for me:) I love China

I uploaded my own photo for my profile pic, I y=think that it looks a lot better seeing a person, instead of some weird pic.

Thats a good idea, but I don't have any pics. to download, I don't hardly have any pics at all...lol. On my old computer we had a whole bunch of them, but on this new computer we don't, I guess I haven't used my camera that much lately...It is a good idea tho...

I fully agree with you. Since its your profile why use someone else"s picture? If you are afraid to be recognized then use an avatar which is not the picture of someone else.Especially if you didn't ask permission. He he

Of course, I'd rather post photos of myself and my families and loved ones in my profile. It's my profile so I think the photos of actors who do not have anything to do with life do not have a place there.

Well, I wouldn't upload any pictures of ME, because there really aren't any! I always manage to hide before the cameras come out, so there are only a couple of very grainy ones with my face hidden. I wouldn't put pics of famous people up either, because I don't idolise anyone that much. I'd only put pictures of gardens or nature or places I'd been ... if I thought anyone would be interested.

I don't have my picture because the picture i have reflects something i enjoy. Of course most people think that i am a male because of the picture but thay are wrong. My husband put the picture up for me.

No I didn't upload my own picture in my profile !! As I am great fan of anime I have uploaded that picture !! And also I do not like upload my personal photo here !!Happy My Lotting !!
