Do you think that some women need makeup, to make them look pretty?

I personally know many women that actually said that they really have to have their makeup, not only to boost their appearance, but to make them look and feel pretty. I have a cousin who won't step foot out of the house without foundation on her face. She says she's ugly without it. I don't think that any of them need any makeup to be pretty because I feel that everyone has a natural beauty. I know everyone looks different from the other, but that's the way God made us, and everything he made, he said was GOOD.

Of course, I think it is indispensible for women to make up. There are some reasons: 1st, make-up makes women more self-confident, at least, she feel herself much more beautiful than what she was 2nd, make-up makes the people around those women feel better, they regard those women more graceful What do you think of it?

Hi! Make-up, if applied the correct way, can cover imperfection and highlight one's best features. It can also brighten up one's face with more color, but should not be too much. Some women gain confidence with make-up on, because it gives them the feeling that they look better with it. There are some, though, who would prefer to not have make-up on, and actually look better without it. So, it really depends on the wearer and the impact of make-up on them. Happy myLotting!

No, I don't think so. As a woman I don't wear makeup and never really had the desire to either. Why? Because I'm so hot looking! LOL! Seriously, though, I believe most women who wear makeup start when they are very young and see their friends wearing it, and of course start doing it to fit in. Most women are attractive enough to where they don't have to wear makeup and society expects it now anyway especially if you are working in a job where you are dealing with people. It's also important to note that women who are not considered that attractive by society don't really have to wear makeup either. Again, it's just societies customs. Another thing I'd like to point out....... Most people say that makeup is suppossed to enhance your looks, but, most women wear makeup to hide their looks like a mask and when they take their makeup off you don't recognize them. They look so different without the makeup. So sad. I'm 50 years old and I've never worn makeup except for maybe one year in my life. I hated it and finally realized how stupid it was and stopped. I'm very young looking and have very good skin. People are always telling me how young I look. I would not classify myself as a great beauty, but, I have always been very satisfied with the way I look. I've been very blessed with having good skin. I think most girl make up themselves so that they look more pretty and confident as most girl love to be pretty or call as hot chicks. Sometimes people can change too they would not always been call as ugly that why they have alot of this saloon that can help to change a person appearances so that they looks more beautiful.

Personally the way i see it if someone dont like you for who you are when whats the point in wasteing your time with that person. Yes sometimes make-up seems to be the key to every girl/woman to make them feel better about themself. However, at some point in time they will be seen without make-up. I dont wear make-up all the time and im okay with myself and i dont think im ugly nor do i think someone else is ugly. Now i do think that some girls over due the make-up and make themself look like a clown which isnt going to do them any justice what so ever. The less the make-up the better it looks is what i say. But the reality thing is with or without make up you still are you jsut at times you have something to enhance the looks and try to make them better. I know i aint all that and a bag of chips but i could careless what others think about me and if more people thought that way the world wouldnt be as bad as it is now in days.

Painting one's face is an ages old ritual used for personal beautification and religious purposes. A little paint never hurt anyone! I love my lip gloss. Couldn't live without it.

Some girls plaster themselves in make up and just end up looking like clowns.

I don't understand the need for makeup. If you're putting it on the attract a man, he'll see you as you are sooner or later so why not show the real you? A real man will fall in love with you, not your face. I've never worn it, never will. It makes me feel like a clown.

some women i think need it because they may have skin problems they want to cover up or they have a great feature in the face like great eyes but they dont stand out and arent striking if she isnt wearing eyeliner and mascara to draw attention to them.. so if she were plain looking before she may seem beautiful because all of your focus is on one absolutely beautiful area

depends how she look and hom much the amount of make up she apply.if 5 kilos make hope you can imagine how she looks

I think proper make up can always bring up the pretty of a woman. Beauty can boost up self confidence. One will be happier when she looks prettier. And who do not like to see pretty stuff? In a nut shell, as long as you are happy, go ahead apply makeup. :)

i think there are some women out there that are naturally pretty and don't need makeup. but the one thing i think all women should know is that they don't need to LOAD up on the makeup. i use makeup and i make it look natural so no one really knows that im wearing makeup. i believe thats the best way women should wear makeup because it can be used just to enhance their natural beauty

I think make up changes the way someone looks but doesn't necessarily add to their beauty. It can enhance certain features and help them to look nicer. I know that wehen I don't wear makeup sometimes I don't feel as pretty.

First of all I never consider any women to be "ugly" I think thats just rude and I wouldnt want anyone to say I was. People can not help how they look can they. No woman "needs" make up but it can be used to enhance or improve the features. During day I sometimes wear a little bit and wear more for special occassions.

I don't think anybody "needs" makeup. But there are things you can do with it to enhance certain features and disguise others. Makeup isn't going to hide "ugly" though.
