Had a date day with my hubby

This is a rare event. We went for coffee after our daughter went to school. We just spent time together. Then we picked her up from school and went for an early dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. All in all one of the least exciting, yet very memorable days in our marriage. Ever had a non eventful wonderful day to mark in your relationship?

I think lazy days spending time with the one you love are a very good way to build bonds of intimacy. I like the time I spend with my wife and it isn't all about carnal knowledge of each other, either. (Although, it is nice if a romantic day includes some of that, too.) Spending a day paying attention to each other and being responsive to the other person is, to my humble point of view, crucial to making up for the times when you don't see eye to eye.
