I found out what the disturbance was last night  |

 Last night I posted a discussion about police activity at the convenience store next door to where I live. I live in a very quiet neighbor and after dark, you can hear a pin drop. Well last night I looked out of the window and saw at least seven police cars parked at the store. I live in a small town, so the whole police force must have been there.
I found out this morning that an armed robbery had taken place there last night. Three masked men with guns came in and put guys to the heads of the clerks and demanded their money, and took all the money in the cash register and the money from the pick it machine, they also went in the back and took the safe.
I sometimes would go to the store at night, if there was something I needed and didn't want to wait until the next day to go to the bigger supermarkets.
I won't be going out at night anymore.

Things like that can really bring ones heartrate up being so close.
I am hoping that noone was injured during this robbery as well.
We have not had this happen near us.
But my wife works in Minneapolis and was robbed many years ago at her job as a waitress. No gun nor threats were made towards here during this. They were caught in an hours time too.

Hatley (21687) | 1 year ago | wow sudalunts that is scary, I am only glad nobody got shot, as that has happened here in Tustin in a 7=11 store a few years back. and they just now sentenced the two men who killed the clerk. we have a circle K convenience store just a half block from this apartment complex and I have always worried about the nice asian ladies who run the thing. I never go there at night. it would b e so awful if armed robbers came in there. those are really sweet people the whole family works there even the older grandma. | |

Indians run this store, and there are usually two men and one young woman that are there at night. The gun was put to one of the men's head, and a gunman had the gun at the woman's side. She quit the job and never came back, she is so afraid. I do not blame her, I probably would have quit too. | |
