whats the wedding motif of 2008?

Wow, this is maybe the wedding year of the century or of the decade. I heard many many friends getting mrried and got married this year. Now my officemate announced that she is getting maried and have not decided yet on what color she will use for her motif. I hope anybody here from mylot could help us decide on what color is best.
Can anybody tell me what's the wedding color of the year 2008?
I hope you can help me with this.

Hi Haze! So who's getting married? I love weddings, you know that but i have not attended any for a very long time now. 8 months, that's "very long time" for me. Hey, haven't you tried to search online? What i know is that the color trend this year is lemon yellow (from shows and forecast of fashion channel) but i suggest the bride should determine herself what is the color that she really likes. The motif should be based on the couple's personality, what they both like and love in terms of interests and hobbies, or what is their common passion. Start from there. I think it is going to be a December wedding? If it is, then it is a Christmas event as well. Though it's going to be in a tropical country, she can use a winter theme/color like burgundy, cream and silver. And my, there are bridal magazines released regulary there. See what's the latest. And please update me on this if you can. Happy planning for the bride to be!

Its rangics who is getting married, hehehe. You know ranigics of course and she has not decided yet. Her hubby likes green and she likes pink, so green and pink combination is not bad but I guess she is trying to look for another color. I will try to check the fashion channel.A classmate from highschool's motif for her wedding is red pomelo and it looks great.

Oh my! I am so happy for her. Let her try to experiment blending green, the kind that her fiance really likes and her kind of pink by using pastel crayon or any paint. See what it produces and if they like it. I suggest bottle or emerald green and metallic pink. Let either one be dominant and the other just an add-on or accesory. Say, mettalic pink for the dresses with a wide emeral green ribbon around the waist, then emeral green undershirt for men's barong. Do not go for baby and pastel of these colors because they tend to appear so plain and flat. That's just my suggestion. I think they can create a Christmasy glitter with these colors and at the same time have a Spring Theme. All the best to rangics.

Yes, im sure that what couples would want to see on their wedding day.If im the oen who is going to get married i cant imagine my bridesmaid wearing brown color.LOL

We are all excited my friend, I know pinky and her ideas are really wonderful, you know she's a wedding coordinator and knows a lot about weddings and details, its like an infectious disease that has spread and we are as if the brides to be.LOL Im getting involved and as promised Ill be giving you the thank you cards for your wedding as promised.

Hehehe, that i dont even know jing, it nearly second coming so maybe I will not be able to get married, I dont wnat to be caught preparing for my wedding, LOL. Hmmm if its my wedding, hmmm, i cant decide yet, but my favorite color is brown so maybe it would be any shades of brown or a combination of any color.
