Does Your Boyfriend Carry Your Handbag When You Go Out?  

Lol Err... No.. It might be sweet to some people, and disgusting to others. Personally, I won't let my boyfriend carry my handbag. I will feel super embarrassed to be walking beside a guy carrying a girl's bag. And somehow or rather, I would feel disgusted.

There are many love languages and apparantly you take service language as a form of expression of love and caringness. To me, that's not the case. I take the soul connection, the sharing of dreams of ideals, walking along the same line and supporting one another in terms of hardship and sharing the sweetness of success as love and caringness.

It's okay for me to see other guys carrying their girlfriend's bag.. but in my own relationship, it is not okay for me to see my boyfriend carrying my bag. That's the bottom line. Lol.

My husband or past boyfriends never carried my bag for me. I always carried it myself. I guess they felt too macho to do it LOL.

Boyfriend does not really carry my purse when we go out. He holds it for me when I need to put on/take off my coat... or whenever I ask him to hold my purse or handbag. He may be holding it for a few minutes or a few seconds... he really does not have a problem doing so. I just like to carry my own things.

No! That's something I've never done and I don't think I'll ever do that. As "cute" as it may seem to others, I know some people will only look at my boyfriend in a bad light. I know cause I've heard some people who observed guys carrying their girlfriends' bags say that the guy looked like a henpecked boyfriend ("under the saya" as we Filipinos call it) and I don't want my boyfriend to be labelled such. The only time I ask my boyfriend to hold my bag for me is if I'm going to the ladies room and I know I won't be needing stuff from my bag or when I have to fit something or when I'm stepping out of the car and need to fix my dress.

I don't allow my handbag to be carried by my Spouse because I feel he would look funny if he is carrying a woman's handbag while walking. But when I'm carrying another bag like shopping bag or any bag that is heavy, other than my handbag, my spouse automatically gets that bag from me. A man should be caring enough to do that. I understand if your boyfriend would carry even your handbag if it looks too heavy for you. He must be really so caring and so sweet. I have nothing against another man doing it, I just don't like it on my husband so I never carry a heavy handbag to avoid it.

no, never. ive never even had a boyfriend OFFER to carry my purse for me. of course i would never ask him to either. it would be incredibly embarassing for him and i wouldnt intentionally do anything to embarass him in front of others like that. to me it would be taking away masculinity.

ive had men offer to carry shopping bags that were obviously very heavy..and like suitcases that kind of thing, but never my purse lol!

That is really sweet that a man carries his girl's bag or anything a girl was holding or carrying. My boyfriend do the same or a guy friend carries my bag when it is really heavy. Even shopping bags... LOLs!!! I ask sometimes my guy or a friend to carry my bag for a short time only and ask it back. LOLs... Its ok for a man to carry a girl's bag only if he was with a girl. Right?! LOLs!!!!
