Obama: gaffe master of the century!

Way back when, when Dan Quayle mispelled Potato, the press and the Democrats had a field day. When Howard Dean got a little excited, it pretty much killed his campain. Sarah Palin touts geography as her foreign policy record, and the left just can't let that one go. Bush and Gore's gaffes have spawned an entire new segment in the calendar and novelty industry.
Gaffes are part of politics, and detecting them has become a national pasttime. They are almost always fun to find, and even more fun to repeat. I have to admit, I love to read them, even the ones repeated at the expense of politicians I support.
But can anyone really compete with the Gaffe Master himself?
Here, I present for your entertainment, Obama's Top...
Bill Ayers:
"His kids and my kids go to school together." (apparently Ayers kids are the real life Jethro Bodines). :~D
US Geography:
"I visited 57 states"
"The State of La Crosse"
Political Correctness:
Or would any Republican get away with calling a reporter ‘sweetie’?
Disasters:
Obama claimed that tornados in Kansas had killed ten-thousand people. when the real death toll was, 12.
His own personal history:
When he claimed he was the result of the march on Selma... when he was born 4 years after that event.
National Defense:
Claiming Iran is a small country, so it doesn't pose a threat.
Obama said Arabic translators that were in Iraq were needed in Afghanistan. (I guess because Arabic is just that close to Dari, Afghan Persian Dari, Pashto and Turkic).
Making Friends and Influencing People:
Obama said he’d meet with our nation's enemies and friends without precondition (which Biden lied through his teeth about at the VP debate).
Obama called Matt Lauer ’Tim’ three times in an interview, even after Lauer corrected him and said, I’m Matt….
Family:
Obama said he didn’t want to see his daughters punished with a baby. (Freudian maybe? Does he feel like he and his wife were punished with babies?)
~~~~~~
Of course, like most gaffes, they are fun to have fun with and pretty meaningless for issues based voters like myself. But man, Dan Quayle and Howard Dean have nothing on that guy!
But hey, at least he knows the price of Arugula at the Whole Foods store in Des Moines! :~D
Good for you. It takes courage to point out the errors of Obama. But it doesn't make much difference to those who worship him.
Angela,
The sad part of that is we, the ones who are not "blinded by the light", are still going to be in the same sinking boat!(or is that stinking?)
I've been saying this all along.I think so many people are afraid to say anything bad about "that one" for fear that they'll be considered racist.I also think he's going to get elected because whites think they'll be considered racist if they don't vote for him.
Of course many blacks are going to vote for him because they think he's black,when in fact,he's only about 6% black.They rest of him is white on his mothers side and Arabic on his fathers.I just wish the people of the United States could see past the hype and look at the truth.Otherwise our country is in real trouble after election day.
I also heard that he and his entourage pulled a dine-n-dash in Kokomo, Indiana earlier this year...and snopes.com is claiming he was born in Kenya, not Hawaii.
Talk about gaffes...
Those aren't gaffes! He was correct with every statement he's ever made. You're just taking his innocent words out of context because you're a racist.
"But man, Dan Quayle and Howard Dean have nothing on that guy!"
"That guy" is a racial slur! Don't try to sneak your racism by us with code words!
