Considering the fraud investigations and convictions that have happened to ACORN should the State and Federal Government stop funding them and should they loose their Tax Exempt Status? I believe the number is 79 convictions in 17 different states for voter Fraud (mostly in registering voters). Should people be allowed to register on the street with no proof of who they are or where they live?
I would favor a photo ID to vote and that you have voter registration at least 30 days before an election. I would also suggest that all local, state and federal offices have some evening hours for peoples convenience.
Protecting my vote is very important.

I don't know why ACORN has tax exempt status anyways, but I don't think that they should have it now. I think we should look at the constitution, and see what it says about voting, and follow it. I don't think that we should require photo ID because it doesn't require it in the constitution. I think that every American that is legally allowed to vote should be able to, no matter where they live, or even if they don't have a house. I always find it interesting that conservatives want to restrict certain people from voting. But, democrats want to include as many voters as legally possible; I wonder why that is?

Paying people to collect registrations is just asking for trouble if you ask me. Yes, I believe they should be penalized. I read somewhere that one of their people embezzled a ton of money and it took ACORN eight years to even report it!
If people want to vote then why don't they take it upon themselves to register? Why do we need to be pushed into it? I wanted to vote and I found out how to register all by myself.
But of course you can't say anything about organizations like ACORN because the first thing they yell is racism.
