When are you at your best>  |

I'm at my best first thing in the morning. I feel physical and mentally alert. I like to walk the dog around five, then take a shower and prepare my lessons for my evening classas. I'm 68 years old, but have been an early riser for all of my working life. What about you myLotters? What's your best time of the day?

1. bubblyapple (1412) | 1 year ago | If working on something (physical activities), I am usually at my best in the earlier part of the day. However if what I am doing has something to do with concentration (doing HW, reports, etc.), I am at my best at night.

mipen2006 (2434) | 1 year ago | I think most young people are better at night, but as you get older you could find you change. I was better in the mornings until my mid twenties.

mipen2006 (2434) | 1 year ago | Thanks for your response. I guess if I didn't get up until eight, I'd probably be more alert in the evening. I have to work until 9:00 PM, and by the time I get home I'm mentally exhausted. I usually go to bed around ten.

3. barehugs (3943) | 1 year ago | I wake up at 6 am. and do yoga for 3/4 of an hour, and then I'm ready for the day. Today I worked at packing the Honeybee colonies for winter. I have 395 colonies of honeybees and I do almost all of the work by myself. Its a Great Job and someone has to do it! (I am 75 as of the 12th of October past)

4. xzg555898 (145) | 1 year ago | you are so full of energy.i even envy you .on contrary,i get up very late in the morning, at about eight oclock,so i am at my best in the middle night,it is so quiet that i can be thinking as mush as possibe,but i find it too late when i get up,i miss s lot of things,the fresh air,the plan of the whole day.what time should i get up,could you give me some advices please,happy mylotting!

mipen2006 (2434) | 1 year ago | I must be honest and tell you most days I try to grab a nap in the afternoon. Espacially when I have to work in the ebening. I'm trying to get back into a swimming habit again. Exercise always helps, but when you stop, is's very hard to motivate again. Good luck xzg.
