Are you going to any Halloween parties?

Usually our fire dept does a party the weekend before Halloween, and we will go to that this year.
Our zoo does something each year too, not exactly a party, they call it Zoo Boo. It's a fun outing, the zoo is all decorated for halloween and they have different activities. That starts this weekend and we already bought our tickets.
Then of course there are the parties and parade at the school which I'm looking forward to.
When I was a kid one of my friend's families did a party every year that I was invited to, that was always a lot of fun.
Do you plan on doing any fun Halloween activities this year other than Trick or Treating? Are you going to any parties, or maybe going to throw a party?

We'll be going to our Zoo Boo Saturday. Boo at the Zoo sounds better to me, but in August our zoo does Brew at the Zoo, so they had to change the name of the Halloween one.

Did you enjoy your Boo at the Zoo? We didn't, it was rather disappointing and very cold, and most of it was outdoors. Plus it was soo crowded. We didn't stay more than an hour, we were all just so miserable.

You've probably seen me write this already lol, but... we are having a 50th birthday/halloween party for my dad this year. i still have no idea what we are going to dress up as yet. usually we take the kids to this small amusement park that does a halloween thing. they have trick or treating through story book forest and then have decorations all over the park. this year we just couldn't find the time or money to go though. we took them to this really cool corn maze though. we'll take them to a short halloween party held by the small town my parents live in and then take them trick or treating.

That place sounds like fun. We don't normally have any major plans other than trick or treating, but then again this is the first year I've had my own vehicle, and a vehicle big enough to fit us all, so that makes a lot of difference.

Nope I am not going to nothing! I never do, I have never come across anyone that celebrates halloween, apart from taking kids trick or treating and I do not even do that, hubby does. I just see it as another way of getting us to spend money, no one really goes all out to make a big thing out of halloween where I live and all the kids are interested in is getting a sugar fix! I hope you have fun though when it gets here!
