It seems that Joe the Plumber has shown us something about the supporters of Senator Obama.
With Joe the Plumber the story has become not what Senator Obama said but who Joe is. Such statements as:
Joe is not a plumber
Joe has a tax lien against him (as does Rep Rangle (D) chair of a major House Committee)
Joe does not own a business
Senator Biden saying I don’t know any plumber who makes $250,000 a year
Joe was a McCain plant who was coached
The story should not be Joe but what Senator Obama said when answering his question. Senator Obama said he wanted to “share the wealth” which is socialism. Is this what we have to look forward to any one who questions him will be subjected a public bashing by the media?

Practically every trained journalist in the USA understands your point, which tells me the people choosing what stories to run certainly are not being fair or objective. The media in the USA is failing miserably in their jobs. The journalists obviously mostly do not dare speak out.
