Did you know it is a good idea to have more than one browser downloaded?

I think I have two on my computer, I just downloaded Mozilla Firefox not too long ago and thats what I've been using, I still have IE downloaded, and sometimes I have to switch back, because I've noticed some websites don't work with firefox, especially if your trying to play online games, they won't work with it, but I also found that firefox is alot faster than IE, our computer has gotten faster since we've been using it.

I have learned something from your post today. Now I know that having more than one browser is good. Currently, I have three. One is firefox which I am using now. Second is avant browser which is also a good one. And then I have internet explorer. But i usually use firefox because it's better than the two. Thank you for the information and good day!!

I don't have many browsers. I don't use Internet explorer too. The browser that I use it Mozilla because it is user friendly.Apart from it I use opera too.

Yes. I decided, after someone at work raved about Firefox to download it. I find that for some reason, internet explorer loads faster than Firefox and there are a few websited that you can't go on with firefox. But I like how firefox's bokmarks better than ie favorites. Also, you don't get that annoying click with firefox every time you enter a website. There is also a website that I used to have trouble with ie and I'm not having with firefox. Here is the question since I'm sort of new to having 2 browsers. Is it OK to have voth of them open so youcan switch back and forth?

IE I have been unable to use for a while because it will not connect. I have used FF for a long time. I installed Netscape and used it for when FF was acting up on me, but then It stopped functioning properly and I got a message that Netscape would no longer be supported. I discovered Flock and I looove it even better than FF. Flock is from Mozilla the same people as FF. I love it because it not only lets me use FF extensions but it lets me Stream favorite pictures and videos, It remembers my favorite sites, Email, has a people side bar to keep track of what my friends are doing and tons of other stuff.

I have two browsers up on my computer which the usual is IE but I have downloaded Mozilla Firefox which is the one I have been using the most since I think is better than IE. Firefox has a lot of things that IE doesn't have and it also has spell check and many other things that make it a lot better. My IE is good and all but I prefer Firefox.

I only know that I use the computer tho we do have more than one browser.

I have never thought about it. It really makes sense. What if I am using Internet Explorer and, by some reason, it gets down and doesn't work anymore? Then I would probably have to go to another Computer, download a new browser, save it on a CD or something like that, come back here and install it. That seems to be a lot of trouble, compared to just using the second browser that was previously downloaded for security reasons.
However, I do not think that my browser is going down so soon. I have been using Internet for a long time, and I know what to click and what not to. I also know how to avoid viruses and things like that, so it would be pretty hard for my Browser to get corrupted by some kind of mistake.
Nice idea, though. I recommend it to users with lots of troubles. My computer is a bit full, so I will not download any second browser yet.

I have Firefox and IE. I really need both, no matter how many times I re-download IE, there is always a bug. However, my work email and tracker necessitate the use of IE. Personally, I prefer using Firefox.

Mozilla Firefox is the best web browser you can use. IE uses active x. You can read all about active x by googling it. Mozilla firefox is better, looks better, and the risks involved with IE are so bad compared to the very low percentage of risk with Mozilla Firefox.
