I'm right now in the process of resolving a conflict at my workplace' and I'm jittery, irritable and even have stomach cramps because of this. What about you? What causes you the most stress? Is it a family problem or a work related problem? I consider my family more important than work, but work problems give me more stress. This is probably because I know, family members will always understand me , no matter what. What about you? your input would help me a lot.

People that have strong personalities and treat me like I am not very smart. I recently had a gentleman that wanted to hire me to type his manuscript.....He was going to tell me what to do...and I am a professional writer.....I am a small person....and sometimes people with bigger bodies treat me like a kid even though I am 57 years old.....and it stresses me out!

He he he. I could just imagine it jill. You insisting that you're right. You must be a very good writer worthy to be in Helium. Can I ask for your help regarding any proof reading I would be needing with my novel? That is, if I can afford your services,...lol..thanks for your significant input.

Definitely work related. You see I work for my husband so when something BIG goes wrong it affects the whole family. All of the administrating and accounting is my job. So when a big incident occurs, and thank God there haven't been too many, it will really stress me out!

Oh there are a lot of circumstances that could be very stressful to me. One is having a loved one who is sick. I'd rather that I am the one who is sick than seeing my loved one suffering because of illness. One more stressful circumstance is when I'm running against time...like for example I have to finish a task and the time is running out for me. I hate cramming...that would really put me in a very stressful condition. Another stressful moment is when there are tasks in the office that has to be finished and then there are no enough people to do. Oh that is stressful because I will be forced to take oveer. Doing so many rush things in a day is quite stressful.

That's exactly my situation. I am not used to cramming, so when admin makes an impromptu demand, I am stressed out. I hate rushing things to do too. Thanks for that vital comment.

The most stressful event of my life was when my husband got sick last year. I really thought I was going to lose him. I worry every day about his condition and if it will worsen. I constantly think of what my life would be like without him. It makes me so sad sometimes. I try to dwell on the positive, but it is hard sometimes. I feel myself waiting for the dreaded day. I keep trying to tell myself that I need to live in the here and now. I can't live in the future. I am wasting so much of my life worrying. I should be enjoying as much as I can. Having family by your side makes all the difference. Hang in there and try not to worry yourself sick. In the long run, work won't matter.
