Marking Best Responses!

I do usually after 10 responses or a week has gone by with less than 10 responses, I just don't like them piling up.

I try to award BR's twice a month. This of course all depends on the amount and activity of my unresolved discussions. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I like to be sure that I have given enough time to get some good responses. People that decide in a day or so I feel are cheating other people the chance to get the best response if they come along later with a truely GREAT response.

Hi Louise, I usually mark mine about once a month as that gives people the chance who can't log in too often to see discussion and respond. I have quite a few unresolved at the moment but some have so many responses it will take me an evening to read through to mark but I will before the end of the month as it will affect their earnings. For me there is no certain time schedule, I just give them when I see an response that looks like it hits an note on my discussion..

As a rule I wait at least two weeks Louise. This is one of the things I do when it's really slow on mylot. I'll start checking out my discussion and marking best responses for discussion that haven't been responded to within the last wo weeks. Have a great day

I give my best responses after my discussion has been posted for two weeks. By then I feel I've given people time to find it, and by then the friends who will answer it, have probably already responded. It's just that people sometimes take some time to find discussions, so I don't want to give it too early. Sometimes it takes me a couple days to get to all my friend's discussions, and by then some have marked their best response just the day after they posted their discussion.

Hi LouiseKnittel, I usually give a best response after I stop receiving responses for two to three days. I like to give everyone a chance to respond so I just check out the discussion a few days after I get what could be my last email reminder that someone made a response.If there are no more added in, then I will reward someone for the great effort of having the best response. I may already know which one I will pick as they are posted and as I reply to them, so it would not take too long to pick.

To tell the truth I only do it when I remember. It may be 2 weeks or a month. Even as long as 2 months. I and the Randam BR'r. lol

I don't have a set schedule for marking these things. I do it when I think of it and I have the time to do it I have ten of them in the unresolved section, I guess I better get around to doing them soon

Hi louise, I don't start many discussion so it isn't that hard for me to keep up with the ones that I start. I usually will pick a best response within a weeks time. If I don't pick one by the end of a week I'm always afraid that I will forget to do it. I will still continue to check on the discussion and respond to it, but I like to make sure that I do pick a best response in a weeks time if I have enough responses and I have one that I feel is good enough for a best!

I am still new to mylot, so I am not sure how to do that, or maybe it is just no one responds to me, as usual. As soon as I notice them, I would probably "grade" them, as though I procrastinate on email, I am certain even if it became many, I would still when I noticed them, as I can become quite the social network junkie...

I check my unresolved discussions every other day and see if there are discussions I started that are at least 7 days old. That's when I mark Best Responses. I always read the responses again, make note of those that I like and choose from those by seeing if they have answered the question appropriately (even if they agree or disagree with me).

Best response how to get it? I don't have it yet beside my name but there is one of our friend try to give that best response but i can't see it. Don't know how to used it. Anyway how it is important to our posting? Thanks for your info friend...:)

Most of the time I forget to give a best response. Eventually I will wander back to the discussion and give a best response. Once in awhile a great response will jump out at me right after the discussion is started and I will hault everything and give the best response right then but that doesn't happen on a regular basis.

Once in awhile, I give them almost immediately. Only if the answer is just perfect. I just kind of do them as I go. I should reserve myself a slot for it. I do try to resolve them all at the end of the month. I have a page full to do, though. Hope I can concentrate and do so.

Before when I had the better computer, I would do it weekly. But now I find it easier on this slow computer to do them more often, 2-3 times a week.
