(via Pollster: http://www.pollster.com/b... )

Three days to go and McCain is down by THIRTEEN nationally. Better dig deeper into the smear jar, guys. Since that's been working so well thus far, you should go all the way with it. It'll be a dead heat again in no time!

CNN did a big story a few days ago on how the polls may not accurate this time around due to high voter turn out, tons of first time voters and a lot of people not having land line anymore (just having cell phones). Who knows if these polls are accurate. There is a difference between calling someone at home and asking who you are going to vote for and the person actually showing up and voting. It looks like a lot of people are going to turn out if early voting states are any indications which is good. I always thought it was a shame about how few Americans actually voted in the election that were eligible.

As for the "smear jar". Both sides have pretty well used that jar. Unforunately. This election has been too much smear and not enough substance on both sides. Too much finger pointing and not enough details on what htey are going to do.

Where are the 1 year plans? Where are the 4 year plans. I want to see a time line, an action plan, on what they are going to do and how they are going to do it. I want to know that the candidates have a clear well thought out plan. I do not want to be told they have one. I want to actually see one. I want to know I am voting for an organized candidate that knows what needs to get done and knows exactly HOW they are going to accomplish it and WHEN they are going to accomplish by. Is that too much to ask? I am not seeing it from either candidate.

Notice how the story on the polls being inaccurate was only done now--no word on that during McCain's convention bump.

They're just looking to inject some uncertainty so that they have something to talk about, since otherwise it's a pretty straightforward story.

I think they doing two things
1. causing more to talk about so that their rating stay up.
2. covering their butts on the off chance they are wrong.

They need the ratings. This election cycle has been a long one. They gotta fill the time with something people will listen to and talk about.
